    Hey! Just curious. I am using your mod and I noticed that I can seem to find any Iron but I do find a hell of a lot of Dark Steel. In World Gen does Dark Steel replace Iron Ore Veins?

    Yes, the two "2's" in that line refer to the minimum amount and maximum amount of stacks that can spawn, the "50" number is probability and the "0" is item damage, but I haven't been able to find a modpack that I could us as an example for how top treat the Item ID so I will start attempting using the MOD ID and a collon.


    Any way I can find the mod ID so that I don't have to randomly guess what they us as the ID? This is specifically for mods with bigger names that likely abbreviate their ID,


    EDIT: Found the mod ID by looking at the mod list in the MC menu screen. Still can't get Battle towers to spawn items from other mods in their chests.


    UPDATE: I found a post from the creator who in response to this very question said:

    They can add their stuff to the specific loot lists ("dungeon", "mineshaftcrossing" etc) minecraft keeps.


    Where do I find these lootlists? Are they in the modpack folder?

    Hey everyone. Can anyone explain to me how I can edit the config file to make items from other mods spawn in the chests? Maybe using Hexxit Gear as an example? I've tried doing it myself but to no avail, I just can't seem to get anything to spawn.

    The mods in particular are Battle Towers, Chocolate Quest and any like these. Battle Tower's config file has this entry:


    "Top Floor"=ender_pearl-0-50-2-2;


    The Battle Tower config file in Hexxit doesn't specify by name like the 1.7.10 version of Battle Towers does. So I guess I don't need an ID number, just it's name. Should I assume that what ever name NEI gives items in creative is the name I should use in the config file of Mods that I want to spawn the gear?


    EDIT: Tried using names still doesn't work.

    I am making a modpack for me and my friends. I really enjoyed Hexxit but it's pretty outdated and is missing some mods I want. That said I have been making my modpack these last couple of days and have finally reached the end where I am ready to purchase a server and host it. Only thing is I want gear from one mod to spawn in chests from another.


    In Hexxit, their Hexxit gear spawns in battle towers as well as Chocolate Quest dungeons. After looking at the config file of Battle Towers its obvious that you just need to put in the item ID and its spawn chance etc. Only problem is I have no idea where they are getting the ID numbers from. The Hexxit Gear config file lists some ID values but none of them are used in the Battle Towers config files nor the Chocolate Quest Config files. So I am at a loss.


    Where do I go to obtain Item IDs so that I can start adding custom item spawns.


    I am using several Gear mods like: God Gear, Reliquary, M&B Battlegear.

    I remember reading somewhere about future game modes. However, trying to find that place which I read about them seems quite difficult so i decided to make this post.

    So right now we have:

    Classic
    Survival
    and soon to be Adventure?

    But what had me was a game mode mentioned somewhere, where the mobs actually seek you down and try to kill you during the night. Forcing you to spend your daytime hours building and getting as much resources as you can.

    Anyone else know about this?

    There was once a time I had diamond tools. Yes. Till I came face to face with an invincible slime. I tried punching him, and it was like I was punching air, my sword did the same. My arrows went straight through him. I died.....multiple times.
