Hi! Love the mod, been using it for only a few worlds now. Just created one where i landed in the desert, seeing ostriches for the first time. After i built my house up i grabbed some eggs from them, and went to go hatch. Problem? They won't. I've tried near torches, on sand, on dirt, been staring at the freaking things for near 25 minutes and they still haven't hatched. Am i doing something stupidly wrong? I was able to hatch komodo eggs easily a week ago. All I have been getting is the message saying "Egg Hatching soon! KEEP WATCH! The hatched creature will be lost if you leave area
What if they were effect by the weather? They are flying creature, mythical or not.Perhaps status effects or impairment like potions that just don't show up. So maybe:
Rain: Damp Feathers! Your gryphon's feathers are too wet. Due to this, he can't take off at all or has more difficulty.
Snow: Frozen! Your Gryphon is too cold, and has slugish reflexes. (Decrease movement speed, maybe have to work harder to get into the air or flap. Taping the space bar more might be a way to overcome)
Thunderstorm: Spooked! Your Gryphon is panicking about the lightning. Possible movement problems (i.e, your not in control anymore like when you first tame a horse. Maybe the gryphon has erratic movements more than usual)
Sunny: High movement speeds (which it already has).
