posted a message on [TOOL] MCNostalgia 2.1.2 (With GUI) Now works with 1.4.6!
To all who don't read previous posts and need an explanation as to why MCNostalgia won't work, here's your problem:

Look at the freaking title. What does it say? Works with 1.4.6. That's just it. This program is meant to find minecraft.jar that has the files of 1.4.6 and replace it with the new minecraft.jar that you chose. Quoting from another post:

for those who are having issues with MC 1.4.7,
    go to this site,
    www.mojang.com/2012/12/minecraft-1-4-6-pre-release/-and download the client file.
go to the bin folder within your minecraft folder.
delete the jar in your bin folder named minecraft ,
place the jar you downloaded into you minecraft bin folder,
    use the mc nostalgia tool.

This is what you need to do. Do the entire thing manually. Most people already know how to install mods and other things into Minecraft manually, so it shouldn't be that hard. If you honestly need help with finding your .minecraft folder, there's two ways to do it:

You can start up Minecraft, go to Texture Packs, and open the texture pack folder. From there, you close Minecraft, and install your mods by going into your.minecraft folder, going to bin, and opening minecraft.jar with some sort of archiving program. I recommend 7zip, because it's free, and it doesn't constantly tell you to buy the full version. You can also download WinRAR. The links for both of them are found here:
    7zip
    WinRAR

The other way is my way. It involves setting up a shortcut on your desktop that goes to %appdata%. For Mac users, I believe it is Application Support. Many tutorials can be found on YouTube that show you how to install mods on a Mac. Since I am a Windows user, I have no idea what to do for Macs. I honestly hope everyone understands what to do.

I don't visit the forums as often as I should, but anyways. I like the texture pack because of the clean look, many texture packs turn me off because they become too 'grainy'. And 16bit texture packs often turn me away as well because they often times try to achieve something that should be saved for a higher pixel count. But this one is clean, and straight forward and for me to say I'd use a 16bit pack is a rarity. I will not look at anything less than 256x +. I came across this for my brother because his computer can't handle much beyond 32bit.

I don't know if you stole or didn't steal anyone's graphics. For anyone to dogmatically claim you did because there is but a few pixel differences borders absurdity when there are so many texture packs of all kinds, it can be trying to ensure complete uniqueness, I'm sure. But I say keep up the work, and I look forward to updated version.

I enjoy the fact that you mentioned your brother's computer. I myself use a Desktop computer to play MC, and it's small bits of memory for MC can handle this sort of texture pack perfectly. I also just seriously hate texture packs with the shaders, I feel that It is necessary to have the blocks look unshaded, but still in touch with the theme of MC.

I also must say that while it appears I have stolen textures, I love that fact that you speak my mind for me. There are just too many texture packs out there that every new one that comes along has people who are constant annoyances mentioning that the texture pack appears or has stolen textures to it. I love your opinion on stolen textures, because to us texture pack newbz, we just cannot make a good pack without that one person stating "It's a copy".

I really should repeat: This texture is very useful for those who hate shaders, have a bad/low memory computer that can't handle MC, or just plain are so bored of the pack they are currently using that they want something new, fresh, and comes back to the original MC texture without all that shading nonsense.
SOON COMING TO Woolcraft (New TP name):
    • New grass texture
    • Improved blocks!
