I'm sad to say, despite you all probably already guessing, I am unable to participate in the Precipice of War for the present time, I am resigning my role as the Republic of Liberia and hot damn why am I sounding so formal like, jesus. But, I will probably still read the posts to keep track of the story on my phone during really boring classes or free time, but I just cant continue for now.

However, if anyone has any questions just PM me, I'll get the email and respond quickly... Hopefully.

    Now for Liberia:

    1977-
Many small railroads continue to be built around Monrovia are and Sanniquellie mostly, with one railway under contruction to connect the two cities.

Several small border conflicts with the Ivory coast happen locally through out the year, leaving 14 Liberian Soldiers dead, and no civilian casualties. No action is taken.

President Tolbert imitates the "Northern Mining Act." in which the government subsidizes a rather large iron mine at Mt. Tokade. Hundreds, if not thousands of unemployed Liberians flock to the area for jobs.

    1978-
Mt. Tokade becomes a bustling mining town that grows every day as the mines there continue to expand, the government quickly profiting off the cheap labor and large sums of iron mined. Many other mines start to open up in the area around Sanniquellie. Liberia becomes the 6th largest exporter of Iron in the world.

President Tolbert nationalizes the last remnants of Firestone Rubber in Liberia, effectively eliminating all American economic influence in Liberia. Tolbert immedietly expands the already substantial rubber infrastructure. Liberia becomes the world's 2nd largest rubber exporter.

Additional border conflicts with the Ivory coast lead to the death of Thomas Quiwonkpa, several others, including Samuel Doe, are injured.

    1979-
The BR-20 becomes the standard rifle of the Liberian Army, despite being outdated, it is very cheap and easy to manufacture. Though, no factories have the capacity to construct the rifle. Tolbert plans to ask other nations, such as Brazil or England, to manufacture the weapon for Liberia.

The Iron mines in Northern Liberia continue to grow, Sanniquelie becomes a rather large city for commerce, it's population growing quickly to around 750,000. A railroad connecting the city to Monrovia finishes, allowing the Iron to be shipped to the Ports and exported much easier and cheaper. Liberia becomes the 3rd largest exporter of iron.

Unrest in the Military, lead by Samuel Doe, grow as the border conflicts with the Ivory coast grow. The lack of government action causing a great deal of dissent between many military leaders.

    1980-
    And here we stand.

I lost this post at least 14 times because of the internet here :/ I'm trying really hard to see if I can improve it.

    Quote from stawaz

Hi Aaron. I'm a friend of Harvey's, and he recommended me checking my application with you?

Nation/Faction- The Socialist Vendetta Dominion of the United Canadas
    Faction Type-
Backstory/Bio- During the first world war, Canada assisted the Britons as being a steady part of the British Monarchy. During the next 10 years, following the war, Canada went through a series of revolutions which eventually left it to anarchy. Around 1946, one of the stronger factions in the now barren land of Canada, the Dominion Alliance of the Provinces, took over Ottawa and claimed it capital for Canada once more. As most of Canada was in total chaos, all miniature "Governments" joined willingly. Canada was reborn, a strong nation that was to be moulded through time. On the 6th of November 1957, a major terrorist attack left Canada weakened, and the Argon Fascist Union attempted and succeeded in a Coup d'tat. The National Socialist Union of Canada was born, and death tolls of the slave camps rose higher and higher each year. In 1961, the Socialist Vendetta, a small faction located in mideast Ontario gathered enough willing civilians and marched on the Ottawa Parliament. Over 2300 were killed in the battle, and the resulting year long war tore Canada into two nations. Claiming most of Ontario and everything west, the Socialist Vendetta Dominion of the United Canadas (or the SVDUC), and in east, the National Socialist Coalition of Canada (Or the Nazi-Canadas). The war came to a conclusion in Toronto, claiming a death toll of 500,000 Soldiers and 230,000 Civilians (Approximately). When the war concluded, the SVDUC stood champion, and the leaders of the Nazi-Canadas were hanged. From the SVDUC, "Canada Proper" was formed, and the remaining land was divided off to the NWC, to keep peace, as many of the western-Canadians did not support the newly appointed Socialist rule.

    The invasion of America
After the long, dreading wars of Canada, the United States economy was left crippled. The twin Canadas invaded Alaska, and the United States turned to the United Socialist States of Canada. The ongoing war in USSA caused a "Left vs Right" winged war in America, and Canada began to deal more with the right winged spain, although remaining Socialist.

    FOR REFERENCE:
North America is by far the most complex thing. The primary super powers are the United States and the twin Canadian nations. The United States has suffered nothing but bad luck so far, having to deal with several rebellions caused by players trying to make their hometown a superpower disgruntled regions. In 1970, the lead to the nation of North Florida, which existed for about one year and spent that year at war with virtually everyone in the area, at separate times fighting the United States, both Canada's, Cuba, and Mexico. They collapsed due to malaria and reentered the union. Currently New England has newly separated from the United States, and event which seems to be sparking a continent wide war also involving Spain. The twin Canada's are Canada proper and the North Western Coalition made up of British Columbia and Alberta. The NWC was founded by a canadian player making his hometown a superpower an oil industry wanting to govern the region for itself. Canada let it go peacefully, and the two have worked more or less together on most things. Canada invaded the United States in 1970, gaining possession of Alaska out of the deal and also basically tearing the continental US to pieces. After all the trouble, the United States went communist and became the United Socialist States of America, whereas the Canada's associate with the more right wing Spain, allowing the New England separation to spark a left vs right war in North America. The United States is joined by Cuba, which is a chinese style communist nation, and Mexico which is an America style communist nation.

I think my mind cringed itself to death.

Oh and, time to get back to Liberia since I'm fully settled in again :3

Worse conditions? Depends on what you are talking about when it comes to those conditions, mind you.

The Soviet Union was pretty... Nationalist? Best word that comes to mind when it first started out.

Russia, for lack of anything good to say, my opinion of it is that everyone is disheartened, because pretty much everything around them crumbled and few people have really done anything about it. Those who have, the people under then won't just flock to their side instantly and proclaim them President or King or what have you.

Unifying Russia will take time completely as in... Economically, Mentally, and Politically will take a very long time.

It would be fun to do, but you would have to start very small to get anything done.

Well, that's my opinion at least.

In other news, Germany is a nice place.
