Well, I can't guarantee that nuclear missiles aren't involved in the storyline...

    Welcome to Seattle

This is a Fallout inspired Open World Adventure Map (now finished!).

It's the year 2280, two hundred and three years after atomic bombs rained from the sky. The United States, already on the brink of destruction after a decade of war with China, collapsed in on itself during the two hour nuclear exchange. Millions of lives were extinguished in an instant as fire washed over the earth. Those who survived the Great War did so in vaults: great subterranean complexes developed to protect a lucky few from the end of the world.

You live in Vault 48, underground and unaccustomed to the post-apocalyptic world that lives just outside the walls. As a vault dweller living in a world without mercy, you're going to have to learn to fend for yourself. The untamed Washington Wasteland is open to explorers and scavengers alike. But outside forces are pressing in, like the New California Republic, and a mysterious organization that threatens the very safety of the land...

This map is not an accurate reconstruction of Seattle, so sorry to any Seattleites hoping to find their favorite place rebuilt in Minecraft. But there are still a few real life locations that have been remade in this map, including the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Waterfront Park, the Seattle Museum of Art, and more!

Screenshots of the map in the spoiler below:

The Sky Needle (real life Space Needle) still stands strong in the Seattle skyline, untouched by the bombs thanks to the technology of Poseidon Energy...

Vault 48 was a control vault, unaffected by the experiments that plagued most of the other vaults. Its inhabitants left long ago, only for the vault to be repopulated by another unaffiliated group of wasteland people.

A scenic overlook displaying an overgrown neighborhood in suburban Seattle.

A raider outpost stands before the Sky Needle. Various marauders, fortune seekers, and common opportunists survive in these untamed lands by leaching off hardworking folks.

A ruined airplane at McChord Air Force Base.

Pike Place Market still remains, although in considerably worse condition than before the war.

An deactivated Chinese missile from the Great War sits dormant in the center of the city. At least there's not a city built around this one!

An old, abandoned warehouse being reclaimed by nature.

The gate to City 48, the largest settlement in Seattle. Their lands are steadily being encroached on by the ever expanding New California Republic.

Founded by the original inhabitants of Vault 48, City 48 is a testament to human resilience in the face of adversity.

A dilapidated ferris wheel sits on the pier of Waterfront Park.

The same ferris wheel as seen from above.

Waterfront park seen next to a shipwrecked boat on a mountain of rubble.

A ruined section of Seattle's skyline.
