Words of beauty.
Plus, I don't find VR all that captivating. Especially for gaming purposes. -

That was pretty poorly animated compared to other parodies.
Also, "griefing" isn't a thing. It's called playing survival.
In my opinion the CGI makes MC animation videos poor in general. The reason I liked the animation in this one is because it felt more Minecraft-ish what with the static facial expressions and the non-fingered hands (like the actual player model). -

I love the original song (a fat Korean guy trolling people, what's not to like?) but this is just brilliant.
Plus it doesn't use that hideous CGI animation like Minecraft Style did. - To post a comment, please login.

This thread disappoints me.
EDIT: Cryptic stole my joke...

@otherhand were you planning on updating the MSPA forums topic for this? (It still says 1.5)

I'd definitely want snow free EH biomes to be frequent. (I abhor MC snow, so I never really had a problem with snowless mountains anyway, but with the new snapshot it appears my fun has come to an end.)

Eh, those transitions aren't as bad as some I've seen. They just need to be a little more gradient, which would require more space.
Really there should technical "transition" biomes as a place for grass to phase into the next color.

Having seen many a river and creek, I've seen they're always lined with sticks. fallen trees, and large amounts of driftwood. So I was thinking that maybe the larger rivers could have log formations on the side.
Just a thought.

Wait, beaches don't already only generate near water? I mean, they wouldn't be beaches otherwise. The whole thing with beaches is that they are sand bordering a body of water, be it a river, lake or ocean. And it would be better for sand beaches not to generate alongside rivers, since I have yet to see an IRL example of a river beach made from sand. (It would seem more natural to have rivers be bordered by dirt, gravel and logs(?))
As to steepness, one of the bad things about beaches is them generating on hillsides and looking weird, so that certainly would be nice.

Could you possibly describe this mystical "new gameplay" that nobody has heard of until you mentioned it?(Note: New features =/= new gameplay. Gameplay features are things like the EXP bar or maybe a change in inventory layout.)
More biomes are always welcome IMO, but if they're not "perfect" doesn't it defeat the purpose of this thread, which is to encourage "perfect" biomes? Unless they are "perfect," in which case, full agreement.

Also, why "Exodia"?

It had to be done.

I build a few iron golems, make a simple wall encircling it, and make a house in the village church.

They can be nice aesthetically. With Gravel beaches, it's a lot of fast, easy gravel that you don't have to risk suffocation to get to.

That could be done on purpose in order to prevent some awkward biome transitions. i.e., A smooth transition from plains to forest could be achieved by making the plain's grass color phase gradually into the forest's grass color, but you can't really do that with desert (grass interspersed with sand isn't very visually appealing). A body of water however, seems more okay between a plain and a desert because one could think to themselves, "Oh, across the river is a whole different climate zone. Seems legit." Of course, this method using rivers doesn't really make any sense if it were used to divide biomes with similar climates, like the aforementioned forest and plains. A river with the same biome type on both sides is fine, but it does seem out of place to constantly see rivers dividing up all of the different biome types.

Well getting everybody to stop caring is ideal, if impossible, so there's the reason I said yes to that.
I'm working on it. I said that because the only change I saw in the OP in response to 1.7 is, "1.7 might have terrain features." Gee thanks OP, none of us knew that.
Good! That's a step in the right direction!
Yes things may be improved, but at this point the devs might have all the features they want to put in planned, just not put in yet. Certainly major new things could show up, but it's less likely to happen now then it is when the update is still in early planning stages.
