Bumping with a few additional notes, including the possibility for a 1.12 port. There is also a possibility to switch to modded with a number of mods to balance performance and features

    Please Note:

    1. The worlds we use belong to the now closed server Brohoof, and are used with permission. Brohoof Website

    2. You must PM me to be given access to the server, this is to protect against those who would waste their time harassing the server.

    3. This is not a perfect remake of Brohoof. Gamemodes, worlds, and systems will be altered for a new take on the world.

    To Apply:

Send me a private message detailing the position(s) you would like to apply for, and the reason for interest, if any.

Your level of experience in the position you would like (in years) and some examples of your work (if a builder) are also a great help.

    -----------------

    Builders Info

For those interested, I am seeking talent to help finish, update, and maintain a semi-open world Equestria map and it's connected maps (some interiors are larger on the inside to bypass size constraints)

Builders will need to be able to match predetermined styles, or update them with a better one.

    A few major to-dos:

    - Finish towns located in the desert.

    - Update castles with new blocks

    - Move some towns out to a more believable distance

    - Add missing houses in blank areas

    -------------

    Plugin Managers

If you have experience with the settings, bugs and uses of plugins you are needed here! Our server uses CraftBook and other plugins to generate moving parts, sourceless lights and a few impossible smallscale structures. We may also need additional plugins to revive features lost between the jump from 1.8 to 1.11.

    Some major plugins are:
    Craftbook

    Multiverse w/Portals

    LightAPI

    Citizens

    MCpainter

    Brohoof Veterans

If you were a player on Brohoof, having you around would be a big help in itself! A major goal of this project is to not disgrace what Brohoof was by adding a bad name to its legacy. Even if you just give insight on some of the creations, it would help to understand how the server was well received. Also, we need help locating the hiding places of admin created loot, it keeps popping up! (And we might keep it around as a shoutout)

If you have friends who had player homes on the server, we'd like to contact them about letting them reclaim the area. Otherwise, unclaimed homes will be destroyed a month after initial launch of the server.

posted a message on Creating a pack, need some minor help.

Hi! For a while now I've been working on an RPG server alongside various friends of mine. Recently I came to the conclusion building a modpack for this server would be much more convenient and open better opportunities up.

This modpack's theme is: Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts
    Genre: RPG Adventure
    Contact info: Discord: Roxas1156 - #2924
If you prefer Skype, comment below.

The server will consist of a few worlds spanning both the KH and Final Fantasy games/comics/etc. but will also feature an open-world where players can explore without boundaries. Both types of worlds will be used for quests, with the smaller limited worlds providing shops, possibly NPC's, and other major functions while the larger world is similar to a survival setting, and travel between worlds is freely available. (combat tagging would be useful though)

I have some mods in mind, such as ThaumCraft, Tinkers and Chisel for extra features and such. Fantasy is a big part of this pack, but I don't want to load in pointless mods. Being less than expert I would like some help balancing performance, functionality and usefulness. If you're interested refer to my contact info above. A vanilla version of the server currently exists on 1.8, so you can tour the maps to get an idea of what this is and is not.

I would put a full detailed explanation here but 1. Nobody reads past paragraph one and 2. It's not set in stone.
If you did read this far here's some more detail to hopefully encourage you to help:
    1. I own and maintain this server properly, as in it's hosted and fully paid for with plenty of RAM
    2. This is not my first pack, just the first one I've made for fantasy
    3. I'm an experienced Server Owner and do know a bit about making mods.

If this mod is somehow still being worked on I would like to help out, if that's in the question. I'm not the most experienced at this, but I can provide some service and take some of the load off the devs shoulders.

posted a message on Forming a Mod Creation Team

I was going to put this in modding, but it fits better here.

    --TL;DR--
    Here's a quick rundown.
I'm getting together a group of people who can write mods. We'll be working as a team, and sometimes solo. Donations will be equally split and all credit will be given to authors. If you're 15 or older, know what you're doing, and/or are really good with art, go to the bottom to apply
I wrote this because people hate reading, go figure.
    --END TL;DR--
Below this is a bunch of extra info for those who care. I'm outlining the details. If you've got a question, make sure I don't answer it here, then feel free to ask. Also, suggestions welcome

    First off, leadership.
I've worked with mod writers in the past, and I know enough to realize a high-and-mighty leader of all will collapse a team. So we'll just be a group who works off of each other to produce whatever it is we work on. I won't limit leadership, I don't intend to, if you're heading the project you're in charge for the development in that project.

    Second off, requests
I know a lot of modmakers like to make mods that the community wants, while others make mods strictly to their liking and then take reviews. This team will kind of do both, we'll vote on the next project or projects and work from there. Sometimes, we might not even work on the same mod all at once, instead we may give advice or ask for it.

    Thirdly, profit. cue comments
Yes, mod makers put a lot of time into their work, and yes donations do help. Especially when a computer kicks the bucket and forces a mod to be put on hold. So, this sort of thing will be handled once a team is formed. That said, I highly doubt any of our productions, save one or two, will have paywalls. With that, we'll have a donation system for any mods made by the group. We'll have a set way to distribute any donations fairly. If you work on a mod alone and it receives donations, that's your money. You won't need to split that.

    Fourth, credit.
This is quite simple. If you put work into it, your name is on it. We will have a team name, but we'll also list the members of that team and their contribution. So instead of "The __ Team" you end up with the names of each individual.

    Fifth, testing
In the event of making a mod to be used on servers, it's always fun to have an official server with no heavy editing of that mod. Luckily, my friend at HNMC network has allowed us free use of their server machines. There will be an account specifically for the mod team, with the ability to quickly create and manage our personal servers at will. There won't be a monthly fee as I am involved with HNMC, as the owner is a personal friend who is supporting this team.

    Finally, requirements.
Not just anyone can join this team and ride along without contributing. Please have knowledge of at least the basics of making mods. Such as making a new material, or food item, or blocks. Of course, the more you know the better it is
As for age, I think 15 is a pretty fair minimum. If you have the knowledge, but don't fit the bill here contact me and we'll discuss the exception.
Texturing: If you do textures and mods, or just textures, we need you! My fingers are made for code, not colors, so an artist to help give life to mods is a great help.
If you think you'd like to help out, read below:
Pick one of the following to apply.
    Fill out this form http://goo.gl/forms/UUPzbVm3ADvfzgh53
    Contact live:treyspcs on Skype.
Comment or PM me your In-game name, age, years of experience and suggestions you might have for this group, if any.

    I recommend portforward.com

If you want me to look myself, I just need the model number. You may have simply created 2 of the same port, or have 2 servers running.

posted a message on [1.12] Kingdom Keys Re:Coded 0.9.2.2 - The Organization Update

Nice. My friend mentioned wanting to use this mod in a server, by the way, I'll have to see how he wants to do it. He may want a few features to give players uniquely styled blades to go along with another mod of his. I wouldn't worry about it though, if it comes to that I should be able to make Starlight from KHx with interchangeable colors. Thanks for the help.

posted a message on [1.12] Kingdom Keys Re:Coded 0.9.2.2 - The Organization Update

The models are ripped from the game in obj format. Techne can't really be used any more for items and blocks. So basically any 3D modelling software can be used to make the models, Blender, 3DS Max, Maya, Metasequoia, etc.

Sounds good I guess, now to go read up on tutorials and find some example code. Does this project have a GitHub source I can use for reference?

Hey, I was searching up some stuff on 3d modeling, etc, and came upon this (Awesome mod by the way, gonna try it out) but how do you make the models in game? Is it Techne's Turbo Model, and if so how did you texture it? Sorry about all the questions, I just don't speak enough spanish to understand the tutorials that are out there.
