    I have a huuuuuuuge list of birds to work through so I am grateful for all these suggestions! I'll get through them all eventually - I just don't want to rush and the quality be reduced. I also want to work back into some of the flying for birds as it gets a bit random (I've seen them slam themselves into the floor sometimes).


    Adding new textures to current birds (eg, the macaw) is a lot easier than creating new ones. Expect to see the hyacinth next update!

    If it 's too much of a massacre for you to get defenses up for, have you considered NOT using those mods? I personally have yet to have any problem losing villages unless I royally screw up. MC's villagers are the equivalent to mideival peasants. It was rare for them to fight back, but rather flee in terror. Guards seem to do a good job though

    You can also increase their health and dmg (for both guards and normal villagers) if you go to Minecraft's main menu > mods > scroll down to MCA on the left and select it > config.


    But the challenges, man! and dem bosses! :v Those mods add 'spice' to my world. Nonetheless, I will build walls next time. Obsidian this time!

    Hi! I just wanted to share an idea regarding the defense abilities of villagers. There is this mod called: ChocolateQuest. One of their mobs [skeleton-like], heals itself with potions when attacked or have shields to protect themselves. The reason I'm suggesting this is because some people like to use other popular mods like Advent of Ascension or Lycanites Mobs [or even OreSpawn]. Thus, is a bloody massacre in the villages. No villagers to interact with or barely one [because it's house spawned underground during the generation of the world]. Could you add a better defense IA for the villagers, please? :) Thanks for reading this, either way!

    The first thing I'd suggest is testing Repose without EnviroMine. We discussed incompatibilities between these two upthread, not sure if you've changed settings to prevent infinite block falls. There could be other incompatibilities that are less visible and that degrade performance.


    And those mobs suffocating, is that the regular mobs? (zombies, cows etc.) Or some new ones added by mods?


    Hmmm....I did what you told me [regarding changing the settings]; the problem was fixed with the 'avalanches'. On the other hand, the 'degrade performance' is a thing that is the pesky one. But I cannot tell how Repose do it. But I can point at it, since I removed/added all my mods, just to be sure.

    Now, about the mobs, all of them suffocate when they walk [vanilla & modded alike]. I get free food :v ... but my forests are full of bones and meat...and no animals last too long...

    I tested it again. So there is some issue. I will be explicit:


    1. Mobs that walk after 'Repose' is installed, suffer damage [Suffocate-like effect with every step]


    2. When you advance around the world, it seems that 'gravity' and repose have that 'ticking effect'

    Does it take a lot of R.A.M to play with 'Repose'? After I uninstall it, the 165 mods 'run faster'. I test my Modpack around an hour to decide which mods affect the PC performance. 'Repose' is the last piece of my puzzle for my Modpack
