This EULA business is gonna completely change minecraft's multiplayer aspect. For three years now, I've always wanted to have a fair and square gameplay experience. I noticed quickly on these raid servers or minigame servers or prison servers that these donation packages will be the tipping point of the gameplay experience. i find that if I like the server and not want to have to pay to win, it'd be very enjoyable. However, it's not the case on these servers. These packages are not only unfair, they're overpriced and quite bluntly, useless. If someone wanted and advantage, they should get it themselves like 90% of the MC community does already. I played on a "vanilla" server one time and saw donation packages for 200$.. You get full diamond, a sword, 300 levels of xp, flying, admin commands...etc. This isn't fair! For those of you who are against this, you're saying that Paying to win is the same thing as working to win. This is what tears servers apart but makes them at the same time. Sure, I can agree that making an income off of minecraft servers is going to be a challenge but honestly it's about time that it became enforced. I've seen too many 7 year olds in full diamond, creative mode flying around murdering the people that actually make this game enjoyable. Thank you mojang, you're doing us a favor and we can't thank you enough for it!

Alright guys, with the new 1.7.2 update and the new generation, I think it's time to set a challenge. Every parkourist's worse nightmare, the MC Trial.
So, this challenge was inspired by the maze runner series by James Dashner. Int he second book, the main character is faced with a nearly impossible task of crossing the scorch, a superheated desert in a mere week. My challenge to you, the Minecraft community, is to travel THIRTY THOUSAND BLOCKS in 7 Minecraft days. (About 2.5 hours)
Please note this IS possible and if anything, made ultra easy. 4 Blocks per second (BPS) while walking. 4x60=240BPS
240x20=4800 20 as in 20 minutes, the time in one Minecraft day/night cycle.
4800x7=33600
I'm gonna make i easy at 30 000 blocks. It's easily achievable while walking.
=HOW TO PLAY=
Generate a new hardcore mode, amplified, non seed and no structures generated world.
Write down the exact spawn coordinates.
Add [-30 000] to the Z coordinate. THAT IS YOUR OBJECTIVE. (You're running North)
Add 500 and -500 to the x coordinate separately. You have 1000 blocks width and 30000 blocks length.
You are now ready to begin the journey! [MAKE SURE TO TIME YOUR QUEST]
=RULES=
-No cheating! The second you step outside of the 1000 block width boundary, you're disqualified!
-No cheating with commands! No recovery of items, no fly cheating, nothing. PURE VANILLA.
-Sleeping is up to you, make sure you obtain your wood and wool legitimately.
-Caving may not be necessary- again, it's up to you. -YOU MUST FILM YOUR ENTIRE JOURNEY!!!!!
Oh yeah, did I mention a prize?
The person who reaches a 30k block run in the shortest time, legitimately will win 15$ of iTunes Credit!
The nicest picture of the land generation taken will also win 10$ of iTunes credit! This picture must be apart of your generated world!
