    Got a feature request, pretty simple one (I think), a toggle in the settings menu for hiding scoreboards.

    We'd like to use a rotating scoreboard on our server but we're not sure all of the people on the server would be happy with that. It'd be awesome if clients could individually switch it off, and optifine is already used by pretty much everyone on the server!

    Thoughts?

    Quote from Romaq»

    My "feature request" at the moment is being able to play ViveCraft (the VR Headset Mod) which ships with Optifine to back it, AND Fabric mods providing the client-side stuff we like to use on our server. Today is not that day, unfortunately. OptiFabric, Fabric in general, and ViveCraft do not play well together.

    I personally think that Vivecraft compatibility is a thousand times more likely to become a reality than a very specific and circumstantial server-related feature that does not fit the scope of this mod at all.

    Please keep in mind that this compatibility may not only be Optifine's burden to bear, though. There's probably lots that Vivecraft and Fabric (perhaps even Forge) can do on their end to make this a reality as well. :)

    Is there anything that could be done from this mod's perspective?

    That MamiaOtaru already replied to. :)

    I'll have to get a look at that a bit later.

    So let's hope it will get fixed on either side sooner or later. :)

    I return to the minecraft after years, and I have a doubt about the mod, before I found the prayers like copper, aluminum generated on the map, currently only with the mod tinker and mantle I can't find a ore of the new minerals, only the classic ones, Are they achieved in another way? set something up?

    Tinkers' Construct 2 does not add Copper or Aluminium oregen.

    The only ores it adds nowadays are Cobalt and Ardite in the Nether.

    If other mods add Copper or Aluminium to the game, then Tinkers' Construct 2 does does support smelting, alloying and casting them, though. :)

    I won't ask for a specific release date, you are busy and all but are there are big problems you are facing in terms of game breaking bugs that are opposing you or is just "work" in general that needs doing?

    I said this before but I really wanna start playing again and this whole forge/fabric and twitch downloads has me all confused now on where and what version to exactly start playing. This mod would be a good reason for 1.12 I suppose. Though I don't even know what all the new versions bring but still. ;p

    Honestly, the best place to not ask this question would be the Discord server.

    And I have heard that an official release is coming soon. :D

    Hi all. I just downloaded SEUS, and..... Well. What on Earth did I do?

    (Mac OS 10.13.6, Minecraft 1.14.4, most recent versions of OptiFine and SEUS)

    That's a Sphax texture pack, isn't it?

    Any mods you might be using besides Optifine?

    Otherwise I think that looks mighty cool. Not pretty or intended, but cool regardless. :)

    posted a message on [1.7][1.6] Ender IO - How many pipes in one block?
    Quote from Lighttronprime»

    Could somebody help me with custom Ender IO recipes, specifically the vat? I carefully copied my formatting from the core file, and created my recipe in the user file, but it doesn't work. Did I mess up formatting, or is it Rotarycraft being stupid?

    <VatRecipes>

      <recipeGroup name="Fusion" >
        <recipe name="Jet Fuel" energyCost="30000" allowMissing="true" >
          <input>
            <itemStack modID="RotaryCraft" itemName="rotarycraft_item_ethanol" slot="0" multiplier="2" />
            <itemStack modID="minecraft" itemName="blaze_powder" slot="1" multiplier="3" />
            <fluidStack name="rocket_fuel" multiplier="1" />
          </imput>
          <output>
            <fluidStack name="rc jet fuel" />
          </output>
        </recipe>
      </recipeGroup>

    </VatRecipes>

    What Minecraft version is this? This does not look like the format I see in my MC 1.12.2 config files.

    "rc jet fuel" does not sound like a valid fluid stack definition
    </imput> spelled with an M.

    Also, the last post in this thread was over 2 years ago and the title hasn't been updated since MC 1.7.
    It might just be better to ask your question on the Discord server.

    Any help?

    Also, just one other unrelated bug I found, when you use the mod-shaders with Optifine and set the rendering to 0.5x the game only shows the bottom left corner of the screen.
    I'm not too bothered by it, but thought I'd bring it up.

    Optifine shaders and the Betweenlands have never been good friends. I am not sure whether they are officially supporting Optifine at all at the moment.

    In fact it would not surprise me if Optifine was the conflict that causes this crash in the Betweenlands.

    It seems like you are using the last version of Forge (which is good) and the forelast version of the Betweenlands.
    Maybe you should try the last one.

    If you want quick help, the Discord is a better means of contacting the developers.
    I will look into it some more, though. :)

    posted a message on XRay Mod (1.6.4 - 1.11) ( Vanilla/Forge/LiteLoader )
    Quote from CannonFoddr»

    Since I'm seeing the same questions popping up with installation on the Discord channel I thought I'd attempt to make an 'all-in-one' Document to try & explain how to do it properly in a step-by-step guide. (note I've only done it for 2 of the more popular launchers that we've figured out how to install with)

    If you're planning to install Xray - download this document & give the instructions a try & hopefully you'll have a trouble free installation

    Please note that this is a 'first draft' & any comments/suggestions to try & make the instructions clearer are welcome

    https://www.mediafire.com/file/zvxg9qltquol4hg/Xray_Installation.pdf/file

    I suggest you upload it to Google Docs or something, so people won't have to download anything. ;)
    I think Dropbox and OneDrive have online preview options for PDF files as well.

    Obviously a big thanks regardless. :D

    so can I just say I really love having one version of my mod that works in 1.14, 1.14.1, 1.14.2 and 1.14.3, with a second that works on 1.14.4 because of a Mojang change? Compared to Forge where I need separate releases for each Minecraft version, and now need two separate releases for 1.14.4 depending on one's Forge version thanks to Forge moving a class in the middle of a Minecraft version? Forget that noise I am fully on the Fabric train, if I wasn't before.

    Neither Forge 28.0.45 nor any 1.14.4 version before that is actually a stable release of Forge.
    In fact, no such version exists...

    Playing a modpack and the betweenlands mod prevents me from playing it.

    Due to some bug

    https://paste.dimdev.org/wexixehide.mccrash

    That is a kind of crash I have never seen before. Interesting...

    At first glance, you seem to be using the latest version of tBT and your Forge version is high enough.

    I have done a quick search in the Betweenlands' Discord server and it might just be a read-write issue.

    It may be a longshot, but could you check if you have \mods\memory_repo\angrypixel\TheBetweenlands\3.4.10\TheBetweenlands-3.4.10-core.jar in your mods folder?
    If you do not, maybe it would help installing Minecraft in a folder that does not need special read/write permissions or running Minecraft as an administrator.

    posted a message on Realistic Terrain Generation (RTG) — Realistic Biomes, Huge Mountains, Custom Trees, Truly Flat Terrain, Breathtaking Landscapes
    Quote from DarkThoughts»

    Is there a rough estimate of when we could expect a first playable test version for 1.12?

    I tried just Geographiecraft + BoP but the terrain looks like crap, and the water & lava pools that spawn absolutely everywhere are killing me (from the inside).

    I tried biome bundle & OTG too, but as mentioned it is super crashy, it has issues with some mods, and I personally don't like how nonsensical it is with how it sometimes even mixes hot and cold climates. The advertised 400 "original" biomes is also not really true unless you count every single variation and sub biome as their own unique biome (or there is something preventing 98% of them to actually spawn).

    TL:DR I miss RTG. :(

    I hope there will be something for 1.14 too because I have a really hard time playing MC without it. But the vanilla 1.13 & 1.14 changes actually do look good (mild surprise).

    I see. Well, I have heard that they estimate to be done porting to 1.12.2 before the end of the year. There has been a recent surge of activity with the return of Pink and Srs apparently having some time on their hands. :D

    RTG as it currently works will most likely not be ported to MC 1.14, but perhaps a new mod will be written to make up for it. Only time will tell. ;)

    If you want to know more and/or fact-check what I just told you, come join the Discord (we have cookies).
