Are these new models and textures going to be applied to the 1.7.10 version as well or only 1.8?

OcAMD posted a message on [1.14] Pet Bats. Flying! Hanging! Fighting!Posted in: Minecraft ModsI had the same issue. I finally figured out that if I threw the bat (injured) on the ground and threw a pumpkin pie down too it would heal it without the crafting table.

Well the problem is, you would only have to use the bat one out of 15 seconds to get night vision. Also i think i already remarked once how the flashing effect is similar to what a bats echolocation must "feel like" for the bat.
I would add that even before trying I would like the ability to remove the flashing effect. I sincerely think in most cases that it is fine but for people such as my wife this would be an issue. She has Meniere's Disease (inner ear problem with severe vertigo for starters) and things like flashing could cause a severe setback or drop attacks. I believe this could be an issue for others with epilepsy as well. This is why she can't use night vision potions in the first place. Maybe it could be called disability toggle. Hope you will consider this.

BigAlanM posted a message on Small Islands with a few trees. Mushroom Biome in sight of spawn.Posted in: SeedsNice find! I created this world in PCMCv1.8.4 vanilla and spawned exactly on the world spawn point.
The neighboring island has oak and birch trees, a couple of cows, sugar cane, and a small cave with coal and iron ore visible.
Nice easy survival island starter world.
Here's the map:

Hello, I'm finding that, by default, the ores don't spawn naturally in the world. When I change the option in the config file to easy being "true," they spawn, but at the very common rate. Do you know why this might be?
Would it be too much trouble to ask that the spawn rate be added to the config file so we can change it manually?
Thanks!
I was able to find some honesty ore within a few seconds, but I guess I was just lucky at first because I haven't been able to find any more.
From what I'm seeing, the generation code is running, so to solve this problem, I'm just going to take your suggestion and implement manually adjustable spawn rates. Here are the download links. (They will also be linked above soon enough.)

vryvryjellis posted a message on Oceancraft Mod - with whales, sharks, lobsters and more - 1.8Posted in: Minecraft ModsHonestly, I absolutely can't wait for this mod to be updated. Almost every world that I create is localized in an ocean biome where I build underwater biospheres and such. Ever since 1.8 came out I've been working with building even more with the diorite, andesite, and sea lanterns. Without this mod or the original Coral Reef Mod updated to 1.8, my worlds have been so dull, and I can't revert back to 1.7.10 and loose all the new blocks from the update. From all the progress related snapshots, I'm getting really excited to see the update released! XD
