personally, I would just leave it, even if you never play it, it's still time spent creating the world. You could always ignore it or put it in a backup folder and remove it on the actual game folders. In the end it's singleplayer so it didn't upset anyone else, just store, delete or leave it there depending hwo you feel about it.
Easiest way to find mature people would most likely come in the form of age in an application (although you're going to still find some immature people above age 18/21 or w/e you have.
There's also the lying aspect for their age, the best you could do about people lying with their age is look up any other applications they have posted for any mismatch in ages told which would find lying but idk how much of a nuisance that becomes to search for every player who applies for any lying/mimatches in age in the current application compared to any applications filled out from other servers
Even if the game is dying (I have no clue if it actually is or isn't) considering how large the game has gotten in general, it would take a long time for the population to decline to an extreme amount.
1: Someone who didn't read anything when they first join and ask how to do something and then everyone tells them instead of saying it's on the signs or w/e (this one sounds all worded wrong)
2: Admins/Mods who don't enforce anything
3: Factions
4: Over-the-top gap between donations and non-donations (I don't mind them in general but sometimes there's way too much earned donating vs not)
5: Server where people decide who to speak to based on rank within server (poor person who gets ignored asking for help/questions and is new D: )
Well, the official "objective" is to kill the dragon, but you can choose what you want to do.
I wonder if the achievement tree makes some people feel like that's all there is to do o.o they see a "Checklist" and it reduces the imagination for sandbox making some people just mine for materials to get nether > enchants > eyes etc and they get bored of it as they are following the achievements rather than just doing whatever forgetting they are there O_O
I dont mind that people dont see my creations... what bothers me is that this game is only about crafting tools that let you dig deeper,
and then you dig deeper to get access to even more tools that do yet again allow you to dig even deeper...
I mean look at "Planet Explorers", like in Minecraft you dig and get resources, but at least you have a purpose in life...
You can invade areas with aliens in them, using all sort of customized tanks and helicopters and titans and weapons...
Or look at Space Engineers, sure you mine and craft stuff, but at least you can craft awesome spaceships that can fly around and shoot stuff...
In minecraft the only things that are not static and boring are your weapons, which is a sword or a bow, and your tools, and a cart\boat...
Hmm, if you feel there's nothing to do but dig and mine, then I really recommend what Henrieta said and try out mods, they can be very influential on minecraft and completely change how a major aspect works.
Amazing pack <3 thank you, it's very relatable to default in higher Resolution (i really like hwo the swords are upgraded keeping the same shape (most defaults make the swords simply thinner)
WHY DO YOU WANT TO JOIN THIS SERVER: I have been looking for a vanilla server that has either slots open or a vanilla that stays open as well as servers that don't allow random PvP'ing as I severely dislike pvp ._. most "vanilla" servers have /home and /back. THe only plug in I would say is allowed but keeps minecraft considered vanilla would be something like core protect etc.
PVP or NON-PVP: Non-PvP (i'm only someone who pvps in events that are planned and actually avoid pvp servers lol)
SHARER or HOARDER: At first I'm a hoarder till I meet everyone and understand them better then I start to open up and share
SOLO or TEAM PLAYER: Similar to sharer and hoarder, at first i'm solo till I open up to everyone etc
OTHER INFO: hmm .-. not much to say, I enjoy vanilla and I especially enjoy when a server is difficult without silly /home and /back plug ins (prefer hard or normal difficulty minecraft as well)
Hello, I posted earlier but edited it away as I was uncertain and was checking around other servers, then realized the others I was looking for didn't have any plug in protection for griefing (which you all have) so if you don't mind I'll apply again (old one is last post on last page)
1. In-Game Name: xRisana
2. Age: 25
3. Favorite thing to do in Minecraft: Build a stable house then explore and survive and gather necesities like wolves for when out at night and so on, and playing doing projects with others once I've grown more comfortable
4. If you have played on other servers, what did you like (and not like) about them? I dislike servers that say they are vanilla but have plug ins like /home and /back :/ defeats the purpose of survival when you can just teleport when in danger. Also dislike servers that allow unwanted pvp/griefing/raiding. I enjoy servers that casually talk but have there silent moments so it's easier to focus on what you're building/making. Servers where staff don't show favoritism and enforce rules as required.
5. If a creeper chasing you blew up another player's structure, what would you do? Fill the hole in the ground as such, take any remaining materials that were blown from the explosion and put it in a chest stating who it was that was there (me) and what happened (creeper accident) so they can fix the remainder (as I don't want to accidentally fix it incorrectly causing a mess or making someone over panic) and help with any materials when they come online if they need any for help.
6. Anything else you want to tell us about yourself? Nothing I can think of about myself personally o.o my name is Monica and i'm 25 and ya o-o Pretty boring person in what I have to mention about myself XD
EDIT: aw I see you mentioned in your latest post you're not accepting currently since you already whitelisted a ton of people. Just let me know if you end up looking for more players and end up reading my application.

Logitech G502 personally works well for me, been using it for years. I do use a mouse pad, but unsure what it is as it was given to me.

I want the update personally as well, simply more variety and completely optional so you could just not use it while playing 1.9

1: Visiting a server for the first time with donation info in your face (instead of spawning in front of rules or something appropriate)
2: Players calling someone a hacker cause they managed to do well (Mini-game servers)
3: Lazy staff/staff that does nothing
4: somebody who spams over and over the same sentence lik 20+ times "who join my town?" or "who wants to pvp" and the like.

If you feel like the need to have others see what you build, I recommend pictures or multiplayer like Korey mentioned
