Any Idea what is causing this? It was fine under 1.2.. but with 1.3, now this has happened.
I deleted the bin folder and the options.txt file to reinstall minecraft, so its not that. My Video card is an ATI Radeon HD 4200 integrated with the motherboard. The video drivers ati2dvag driver is Jan 26, 2011 - which is the newest.

Here is a pic of what i'm talking about: http://tinypic.com/r/9h5d36/7
These lines continue throughout the game when playing - its not just on the title page.

Anyone happen to know how to make this show last player location? Or a way to have dynamic player locations even if the map itself isn't dynamic?

This is what I'd be very interested in as well!

    Got it working...

had to use a specific terrain.png apparently - the original, before patching it with a texture pack

    I"m trying to install pigmap..

    When i do this command

    ./pigmap -B 6 -T 1 -Z 10 -i world -o /var/www/html/map -h 2

    I'm getting this

    [[email protected] pigmap]# ./pigmap -B 6 -T 1 -Z 10 -i world -o /var/www/html/map -h 2
./blocks-6.png not found (or failed to read as PNG); will try to build from terrain.png
    couldn't find terrain.png
no block images available; aborting render

But - the terrain.png is RIGHT in the forlder I'm running this command from! I've also tried putting it in the world folder, and tried doing the -g /home/pigmap

    Any ideas whats wrong?

Hold it, now I can't revert to default. How did you do it?

Delete the options.txt file I believe.. then restart..

posted a message on Minecraft Map (MM) SMP Player Map 0.4.3 - Bukkit Plugin
    Hi !

For rendering my server map manually.. the only way I can think is by downloading the whole world locally, then using cartograph to render it - is that the only way? Or is there an ssh command line way of doing it directly on the server?

Or -using Minecraft AM - is there a way to save the map you are actually seeing? (I use AM when I'm connected to the server and see the map that way)

for the load overlay part (when you only get a blank black screen).. Where should I be getting the overlay map from? My world is stored on a VPS.. not locally that I can pull out.. Or am I misunderstanding how this plugin should work? I thought it would be pulling the map from the server, no?

posted a message on Server with Multiple Worlds?
I apologize if this has been covered.. but searching comes up with SOOO many hits that don't cover off what I'm looking for.

I installed McMyAdmin, but it appears that can't handle multiple worlds on one server. Is there any solution for multiple worlds other than MineOS? If yes - what are the best options. There are so many different control panels. and so many of them sound like the other (names are so similar) that its very difficult to keep track of them all.

I'm installing on a VPS, so I can't use my own ISO.... so I can't use MineOS. :sad.gif:

Thats what we have ahead of us--now is the absolute best time for you to recommend to me what you think a Linux server should have so you don't have to install it yourself, to have a complete self-sufficient minecraft server. (and no, I wont be adding a GUI--my philosophy on SSH mastery stands!...unless you wanna slip me a $10...then ill remaster you one with a gui. :wink.gif: )

how about webmin? and... NANO!! :smile.gif: i'm not a fan of vi
