It's funny as hell to hit them with a speed potion. Just sayin.

Hmmmm, I guess it's back to redtube then?

Wow, even with my seemingly obscene name, that is funny right there.

posted a message on Ruin the Game
I always play multiplayer even when I'm playing alone. My friends and I all have servers running 24x7 so we stop by each others servers and build, fool around and grief each other (when we know for sure there is a solid back-up). I really don't know how this will effect our dedicated servers. Sometimes I login to my server from multiple locations throughout the day to build or check out what my friends have been up to.

We also always play in creative mode and only switch to survivial to put on armor (i.e. the nano suit from one of the mods which lets you run really fast.)

My friends and I are all feeling iffy about the new version, but as long as we can still run a dedicated server and we can log in from different computers, I'll be happy. I'm planning on running the snapshot soon, so I'll see what I think of it before long.

posted a message on Notch steps down as Minecraft lead designer
If I was in Notch's shoes, I would step down too. I say this based on personal experience. If he lost interest in the game development, why continue when others who feel more enthusiastic and motivated can take off from where he left off? I don't see anyone wanting to change too much of the game to lose that feel which inspired so many people to play to begin with. If Notch were to continue developing something he lost too much interest in, then I believe that would show with future updates.

I build 3D Models for contract work, and some models are so elaborate I actually hate them by the time they are done. Then, the model still needs mapped, pivots and hierarchy setup. It's a huge relief when someone else can at least do the paint scheme on the model. A good paint scheme can take quite a bit of time to complete as well and is the 2nd most time consuming part of the process.

I say, good luck to Notch and thanks for creating the beginnings of a great game.
