Just wanted to chime in and give some thanks man. I've been looking over a lot of your designs (this was the first I saw) and it's really inspired me to get to work building a medieval town. Really awesome stuff man, keep up the good work!

Ohh hey look another mod compatibility request.

FC, will there ever be any intentions to implement some sort of wireless red stone system or have this mod compatible with http://www.minecraft...s-redstone-v16/ ?
Ever since i found this mod and got it working with your mod back in the days of 1.3.2 or something like that, i found it sooo useful. Its incredibly time consuming and inconvenient having to place many switchers & red stone along an incredibly long stretch of space. When i was trying to build a water wheel elevator up to my gigantic tree house, the red stone required was very unforgiving and trying to find a way to place the red stone so that it was not visible externally yet maintain the realistic features of my "world tree" was almost impossible. Wireless red stone fixed all that and saved me a lot of time...after it was too late lol. I really hope you will make this mod compatible or implement a similar system into your mod :3

I can't speak for FC's intentions in terms of implementing wireless redstone-like features outside of the lens block, and I do remember back when wireless redstone was compatible (keep in mind, it was Wireless Redstone that made itself incompatible by moving to Forge after 1.4.2, so there will be no "making BTW compatible with it" again), but I wouldn't put money on this being included in the mod. As much as I enjoyed wireless redstone back in the day, I don't think that the concept really fits within the "stuff can be easier, but you have to work your ass off to get it that way" mentality in the mod. Perhaps there will be something down the line, but with the new move into SMP, stuff using wireless redstone systems could potentially be rather OP for anarchy style servers (which is what BTW is geared towards.) The lens, however; should be able to help you get the functionality you need out of that elevator, though you would need an unobstructed path between it and the detector block. The lens can achieve the same thing, but focused in one direction. Hope that helps answer your question.

I've been reading over the last couple of pages, and I have something to add.

Yet you did not add it. An interesting dilemma indeed.

What kind of stupid mod uses magic scaffolding? I don't think that'd fit in with BTW at all. Your suggestion does not fit the spirit of the mod and is probably never gonna happen.
Please take some time to read some other suggestions that were considered/accepted, and make sure you played with the mod long enough to fully understand what FC is trying to do here. ;)

So, wait. Flowerchild's whole problem with Eloraam was because he felt she was copying something (I don't remember what anymore.) But since they can't be used together anymore (which is a shame imo) you're saying it's OK for him to do it?

I mean, I don't really care, but given the big hullaballoo he kicked up before on the issue, that is pretty much the definition of hypocrisy, which is a bit sickening when it comes from someone that acts like they do no wrong. And since when does BTW have marble? Isn't that an addon?

I don't think it would be considered hypocrisy at all, adding something to the mod that is a variant of something else that is already in his mod for a more fine tuned purpose seems pretty legit to me. Complaining about someone copying a feature from your favorite mod when it was used in the other mod first though... I think that's scraping the hypocrisy line a little closer.

I'm going to join the few others who have dropped by to say thank you for everything you've done for the Minecraft modding community. You've made it possible for so many modders and players to expand their Minecraft experience. We appreciate you man, keep up the good work, and don't let the update pesterers, whiners and Forge fanboys get to you. After all... insulting and bothering the constructive members of the community is their way of justifying their otherwise pointless existence.

Again, thank you and keep up the good work, Minecraft wouldn't be the same without you :)

    Wow.

It's beautiful. And quite honestly nothing made me happier that seeing that little 'compatible with Better Than Wolves' blurb. I just tried it out and I am extremely impressed. I can confirm I take a bit of a lag hit when I come across coral reefs, but it is not that bad and lasts maybe a couple seconds before it evens out.

Good job, the both of you, and thank you for creating this. I will be adding this beautiful mod into my regular assortment, and I recommend that anyone else reading this does the same.

Me is very happy to stay with .3.

There are many places to get old version jars. And seeing as this noob (and Son) have had MC for 5 weeks. I'm sure many of you thumb suckers can find it too.

I Me personally get them from the folder on my computer labelled 'old jars'. Never hurts to preserve the past.
