    He said without forge... I'm not able to remember how to install without a mod loader... So, sorry... If you have a folder that says mods, open it and create a new folder called 1.12.2 and put it in there...

    The vanilla location is C:\Users\"User Name"\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\config\ There should be a folder there called VeinMiner and the General file is the one you want, read further below I explained what needs to be changed.

    Have you tried to edit the config file? if so, I'm also having issues with using an open hand for this mod, but opening and saving the config file seems to be a band-aid...

    Are you going through the GUI config or the file config? huge difference... there's a couple lines that read, "

    Change them to "true"

    Also, this section should be set to what you want, mine is set to sneak...

    As said earlier, GRAVE is the key that has these symbols `~ on it, usually next to the number 1! key and above the Tab key... I re-keybind this when I use the keybind cause this is usually my GammaBright activation key... aslo, did you try the technique I just mentioned?


    Now for my next issue... is there a way to put a delay into using this mod? like if I use an efficiency 5 shovel on sand and sneak like I have it set to, can I have it where I have 3 more seconds before it activates, so I have time to let go of the sneak before it mines. I know others have this issue where they mine say stone then granite behind it in one swing of a pickaxe, I'd like to be able to not mine the block behind (granite in this example) so fast after the initial mine...

    with 7-zip, I used, you right-click goto 7-zip, goto open archive, scroll down the list and find the 1211 class file, drag it to the desktop, edit it to say 1122 then open with a hex editor (I used XVI32) do a search for 1121 then change the peram to 1122 the hex code will change from 62 to 63 I believe... Save then in the archive opener drag that new file to the archive and accept any pop-up... you do NOT need to delete the 1211 file as that was going to be my question but I didn't delete mine and it works...

    I forget, there's no option to select multiple at one time right,? the GUI is very time consuming without a search function.


    also, people are whining about a 1.12.2 version over in the Ambient Occlusion X-Ray thread, so I linked to yours, expect an increased visit count :D


    Edit: Do you remember that glitch I sent you for a previous version where if you stand in a certain place the ores will disappear then reappear if you move a mm? yeah, still happening in 1.12.2, maybe think about stealing AO's code cause that works, just not in 1.12.2... lol

    I will not kid myself, I do use the mod as a cheat, but ONLY in my single player worlds, however, I am very directionally challenged and get lost in caves no matter how I put the torches, so I use this mod as a navigation more than a find this ore...

    Hey, AmbientOcclusion.


    Tried 58 on 1.12.2, seems to want to work but it wont detect the blocks and therefore doesn't list any in the GUI. Just helping you out...

    Both clearly have Optifine says so, just where is says Optifine in the lower left is cut in half... the 1st pic is GUI on Normal the 2nd is with it on Auto...
