    Your problem is with optifine, not the shader. Open the options window, then video settings, then other. Select to reset all video options and completely reopen Minecraft. Should work now. Some video settings are incompatible with shaders, such as anti-aliasing.

    I'm normally able to figure out most Minecraft problems I run into, but can't pin point this one. I'm hosting a modded server and it seems that at night, there are freezing lag spikes every 5-15 seconds. I assume it is due to mobs, since that's the main difference at night. Set the server to peaceful and the lag went away. I've cleared mobs with COFH commands, and there are no greater quantity of mobs during the night as there are during the day. This issue is also only occurring on the server and not in a single player world. The configs are the same between the two and there are no mobs enabled to spawn aside from vanilla. I've included the mod list below. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Would you be able to tell me exactly what I'd need to write into the config to simply just reduce the amount of natural spawning hostile mobs in half. I am experiencing a high volume of hostile mobs naturally spawning.

    Check the Bad Mobs config and any relevant BiomeTweaker scripts and look out for any 'max' values that are lower than (or equal to) any 'min' values, or any 'min' values that are greater than (or equal to) any 'max' values.

    Wonderful help. Thank you very much. Found an invalid value within the config file for the Animania mod. They don't allow a value of 0 for spawn rates or frequencies.

    Thank you greatly for your help with this. I can better understand now why there isn't any form of a stencil available somewhere. I believe that now I should be able to take the time to dig up the correct names of generators in order to disable them appropriately. I had actually previously found that list of disabling BoP ores, and use it. Thank you for making it.

    One question I have is that since these generator adjustment settings are done within a biome file inside of BoP's config, is BiomeTweaker even needed for these changes to take place? I know BiomeTweaker allows you to use "forAllBiomes()", but I assume you cannot globally disable BoP generators using BiomeTweaker like that. Thank you again for your help.

    Would someone be able to offer help with what seems to be a large problem for a lot of people? Due to Biomes O' Plenty changing its config settings, you're unable to change its generation settings when NOT using world-type:BOP. Examples are for when people use another terrain controlling mod, such as Realistic Terrain Generation. However, it seems that the only foreseeable solution for those not experienced with mod creation or editing is to use BiomeTweaker. Currently, after hours of digging on the internet, I cannot seem to find any example beyond the string "removeGeneratorBOP". BiomeTweaker has listed that generators can be found within the output folder, and they can, but it seems not for any Biomes O' Plenty generators. This makes it very difficult for those that want to be able to use BOP, but don't want some of the most disliked features that they are forced to have come with it. I have found numerous threads on forums and posts on Reddit of players desperately seeking a solution for this exact problem.

    Would someone here be able to help in listing or helping discover the correct strings using BiomeTweaker to disable certain generators in BOP from generating in the world generation? Currently, the most disliked BOP effects are BOP Quicksand, BOP PoisonIvy, BOP Ores, BOP Soils, BOP Flowers, BOP Foliage, BOP Mushrooms, and BOP Thorns. If there is an easy solution to this, and you know it, your help would be greatly appreciated. It seems there hasn't been a publicly available solution posted anywhere. Thank you for your attention.

    Hello! I've played around with your mod for awhile, but I cannot seem to get it to function on 1.10.2 Minecraft. The beginning goes smoothly until you go to talk with your first villager. You can tell him to follow you, and he will, but the follow option does not toggle into the stop following button. Just as well, you can attempt to give them a home, the game states they're in their new home, and they don't argue that it isn't sufficient, yet their internal interface options don't change from the starting ones. In addition to this, I've changed the config file to disable villager respawn, but they always seem to respawn eventually. Is there something I'm doing wrong or is this just a result of the 1.10.2 version still being in Beta? Thank you for your time and help!

    There seems to be a bug with infinite damage splats on any mobs created with the CustomNPC mod, that are using models from anywhere but CustomNPC's files. This includes vanilla and modded models. The only correlation I have made is that the damage they visually take is equal to the additional health they have in comparison to their naturally spawned counterpart. Example; the cow takes 10 damage repeatedly because he has 20 health when a Cow naturally only has 10. If created with 10 health, this bug does not occur. Is there some kind of solution to remedy this that you know of? I'd like to use your mod, but this makes it impossible to create custom mobs. Keep in mind that this damage is strictly visual. They are not really taking the damage it appears they are. I've also included an example screenshot. Thank you for your time.

    Thank you. This seemed to have fixed the issue. It seems I need to use the Realistic world type when generating the world. When paired with mods that add additional biomes, all of those biomes seemed to be mixed in. To disable a biome from spawning in a Realistic world, do I just delete it's data from the config file/folder?

    @SirChamomile, I am currently using RTG version 1.7.10-1.1.1.3, and that directory you listed does not exist. There is no Vanilla folder inside the RTG config folder. I tried creating the directory and using what you listed, but changing the mix block to minecraft:grass or "2" still does not change the affect of podzol generation in the forest biomes. I also tried changing the surface block type, but to no solution.

    I appreciate you trying to help, but your reply is very vague. I have tried to change the podzol to grass blocks in BiomeTweaker using:

    allBiomes = forAllBiomes()
    allBiomes.registerGenBlockRep("minecraft:podzol", "minecraft:grass")

    But there was no successful result. There are very limited examples of proper use of code in BiomeTweaker for non-programmers.


    Using this line also seemed to also not work.

    ("minecraft:dirt", 2, "minecraft:grass")

    Gosh, I love the way this mod shapes the terrain and I want to use it very much, but man, I cannot stand the podzol splotches all over the place in every single biome. I find it horridly disgusting and it's making me search and search for a similar mod. Is there absolutely no way to stop it from being generated the way it is, or auto replace it with grass? I would love to use this mod in my pack, but I just cannot get over 5% of the ground in every biome being that nasty podzol.
