OK, I have managed to recover my account, and can once again post here.

Do slime chunks work in Ender Forests? I dug out a slime farm in an Ender Forest slime chunk but no slimes seem to be spawning. I know that mobs other than Endermen have reduced spawns, but I haven't seen any slimes spawn in the farm at all. I'm playing in 1.7.10.

    They should work, yes.

I also have a whole album full of new features:

    Hey, I have a simple, easy question (hope so): how to modify standard furnace output of RC flakes using MineTweaker? I wish to use extractor at GregTech chromite ore, but after I will got chromite flakes I wish to put them into furnace to get GT chromite dust, and process it further;

    simple

wont work. Also wish to modify that way pitchblende to get dust out of flakes, temporary workaround is script for shapeless transformation at crafting table / hand, and then using Thermal Expansion cyclic assembler.

If that Minetweaker script does not work, it is an ordering issue, one not easily solved.

Hey Reika, iv'e been making a pack, at first it was going to be for personal use, but like, i feel that ppl would enjoy it aswell. The thing is i made, some recipe changes to create a new tech tree (like using bc additions's gilded red metal ingot instead of gold in some recipes, and making the fusion reactor parts, require tritanium ingots from matter overdrive instead of HSLA steel). Iv'e been playing with your mods since 1.6.4 so i have some experience. And i would like your permission to publish it on twich. Thanks for the attention, and for the great mods u made.(sorry for bad english, not my first lenguage)

The first change is fine - gold is an ungated vanilla item, so replacing it with a similar one causes no balance issues. The second I am much less sure of, though that could be solved by making "tritanium" require HSLA as an ingredient. That said, fusion is so lategame that the gating of HSLA is probably insignificant, and the reactor still requires massive quantities of it elsewhere.

A "tone" seems to indicate the completion sound, so it may well be working.

On a unrelated note: If I for some reason wanted to use the same power system thingy as electricraft, what would I need?

There is an API for consuming ElC power; your tiles would need to implement the appropriate interfaces.

Is it possible for an overflow error of some kind to occur if some amount of steam in steam lines is exceeded?

It is stored as an int, and I have a hard time believing that you could produce sufficient steam to cause any block in the line to exceed 2.1 billion; you would need to generate that many units of steam per block of line, which would take years or more.

I wonder, does crc have anything that gives "any" tool aoe? (eg: 3x3, 6x6+ block breaking area).

There is an enchantment that makes weapons AOE, but nothing for tools. People basically inevitably have TiC for that, making it not worth the effort to implement.

This is tried with forge 1614, 1588, and 1566 with the latest java version

Add -Dfile.encoding=utf-8 to your JVM arguments.

My experimental thorium reactor is almost self sustainable, only needs hot CO2 to start the reaction. FLiBe fuel needs to be provided continuously.

Hot beryllium Fluoride is used in 6 heat exchangers and 18 boilers.

Btw, I can show you pictures of my self sustainable Sodium Reactor, it can run THREE High-Pressure Steam Turbines. Only disadvantage is you need A LOT of materials, but is worth the effort.

I am very pleased to see all of this.

People may have already noticed that the MCF website will be archived in a bit less than a month; this means that this thread will be moved to another site, once I find a suitable replacement.

    Hey Reika,
I know you are against people changing the recipes in your mods.
But I have a request. It wouldn't be altering any recipes in a way that is balance breaking.
All I would like to do is unify things to avoid confusion while people play my pack eventually.

In this example I have like 12 different copper ingots. I just want 1. So I am going through every recipe and changing it to GregTech's copper.

However when I go to the worktable I have no ability to alter the recipes.
And I still have to repeat this process for lead, tin, silver, etc.

    So my request is:

If I remove the other coppers from the ore dictionary I would like to see that the recipes are disabled in the worktable from RotaryCraft, so that way I don't have 6 pages for one recipe where I only really have 1 copper that's able to be crafted.

    Thanks for reading :)

EDIT: also here's a screenshot of my example.

There is a config to rotate the recipes.

Finally, Reika have said "I have nothing against you trying to put ChromatiCraft in a skyblock pack"

    https://www.reddit.com/r/feedthebeast/comments/7x27g5/chromaticraft_versus_skyblock/

Yes, as in "I am not actively against the principle of the idea". I am against breaking the CC progression to make it possible.

You also need many, many plant products. With a skyblock, how are you going to acquire those?

Plant, ore, structure, biome, and a lot more. And that is just the resources; how does that help with things like "Found an actual rainbow forest biome"?

"Here is a recipe for a white sapling" does not address the issue at all. Especially when you say "I assume they just find the fragment from the overworld" with no reason given to assume that is even possible.

You will need to allow players to find the various structures, like buried hollows, or the village casting room ones.

Not sure what exactly you mean regarding the fragments, you can recover fragments with ink and paper, yes. That requires you to have unlocked those previously, however.

    All of this, plus:

Last I knew, the Witchery spirit world did not allow sending items back from it.

Silfryi is mostly right - CC is inherently incompatible with a skyblock pack due to its exploration-based design. How are players going to get fragments? Progress flags for things like bedrock and crystals? The nether roof? The rainbow forest? Finding ethereal luma?

I will not allow simply removing those features, nor just randomly giving the player progress.

Interesting. Still, I'd prefer to not have to cover the roof of my turbine in them, just seems inelegant. But the steam doesn't seem to come out from a single point with a turbine flywheel.

Also, on an unrelated note, a bunch of items have had their textures replaced with Pink brackets. The molten HSLA steel bucket, canola seed husks, all bedrock tools and bedrock dust, along with the engine upgrades. they are still craftable, and still function, but the texture is broken. I have checked with no texture pack, issue persists. However, on a totally fresh install, with just rotarycraft, the icons work fine. (Note, It is only rotarycraft that has this issue). I do have fastcraft, but not optifine. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

You are using an outdated texture pack.
