updates...
the pack has been split into two packs which are HD and SD
HD:
better looking...but more CPU intensive also requires the HD patcher
to come for HD:
redo of all blocks

SD:
not so good looking...but LESS CPU intensive does not require the HD patcher
to come for SD:
more mob stuff...

to answer your question no it will not as stated earlier mods will only work for the version they are coded for. 1.7.3 will work with 1.7.3 but NOT 1.8.1. hope this helps. also there was NEVER a 1.9 only 1.9 pre-releases.
