Personally, I'd like to see a hostile water mob that isn't "tied" to an ocean monument.
One that randomly appears in bodies of water, like a squid, except it's hostile.

So instead of giving us all 4, they're making us choose only one. Yeah, that's a spectacular decision.
A is the one I want to see the most. It looks like some kind of alien wallhugging trapflower.
B looks like a bat, which we already have, so I don't have any clue where this thing would go.
C is a boring-looking box.
D looks like a blaze that brought his floating spires in on himself for an armor-plate dress.
Instead of doing this "1 out of 4" thing, doing a massive overhaul to the game's oceans (which take up an ENORMOUS amount of space) would have been a much better focus. Even if the oceans in Minecraft weren't pathetically barren of anything whatsoever, they take up such a gigantic portion of in-game worlds that it's honestly inexcusable that they STILL apparently are not focusing on updating it. I feel like literally anyone else could be doing a better job getting this creative team's priorities straight.
sadly, C is going to be one of the top 2, because you have every waifu screaming "CUTE" with absolutely zero regard as to what the mobs do. -

I think its all in your imagination. 16x packs have little to zero performance impact, only if they add a lot of animations and more extensive features, like detailed block models.

A LOT, Most of the resourcepack artists I'm in contact with have changed the bed model more than once. And when we all heard of 16 beds??? It was like the announcement of the door/fence update, so many doors and fences we could make cool models of. I used to work on a pack alongside monsterfisher and others who were inspired by john smith rp, I pretty much abandoned it when they "officially" removed metadata. Not saying I will stop working on other packs now, but it seems to be a trend that they give us something and remove something. 1.7->1.8 saw models at the cost of metadata. And now they add more "metadata/variants" but at the cost of models.
From a resourcepack creators perspective it will just be another re-color block to do.
Its a worthy trade off. As someone who makes RPs as well, and who just finished his stand-alone-put-two-together bunk bed models.. its annoying.. But I think having 16 beds to create custom textures for is great. They're each a stand alone texture, meaning things we've wanted to do before to make biome themed beds is possible and plausible. I'll miss the bed models, but hey, I like the colours more. Besides, with the way Optifine is going, with custom entity models, it might be possible soon anyways. -

What are you talking about? You can still make custom bed textures. And if you're referring to the model, how many resource packs ACTUALLY have bed models? How much can you change the bed? How many YEARS did we only have the ability to edit textures? - To post a comment, please login.

Love them, but my issue is they let light in, so its never dark in your house during the day. I play with Optifine so maybe that has something to do with it.

PMC has been around for many years. I know PMC/MCF communities have always been at war with whose better, but I've used both for years and years. Since its at least an established product, I highly suggest we migrate over to PMC. Reddit, Tumblr, Discord, none allow for what we really need, and PMC does.

I don't really have all these issues people have :\
I've dedicated Minecraft 10GB of ram and it runs at a pretty solid 85FPS on 18chunk render, max settings and I get very few stutters.
I don't really play on servers anymore, so maybe its all server related. Lighting is a tiny bit off, but not enough for me to care much.

This might sound far-fetched, and might not help you at all. But I'll share.
Do you fullscreen the game, or do you hit the maximize button and leave it windowed? This is gonna sound weird, and its hard to explain, but many, many, many years ago, when MC was in like.. 1.1 beta... I had a top tier rig for the time. I ran MC at like, 700FPS with Optifine, and a pretty solid 200ish without it. However, I noticed, when I clicked the maximize button, the game felt sluggish, was choppy sometimes... just... felt weird... I discovered by dragging the game window to the size of my screen instead of using the button, it fixed it, even tho the frames were exactly the same. This might sound stupid, but multiple people experienced the same thing back then lol

You no longer mine diamonds, (mithril ingots.) Instead, you mine mithril ore(diamond ore.)
You must then smelt the mithril ore into ingots, just like you do with gold or iron.
Blast-furnace cooking times have been increased from 100 to 500. It takes about 25 seconds instead of vanilla 5 seconds
To make up for these changes, furnace smelting XP has been changed from 1.0 to 5.0, and blast smelting from 1 to 2.5
I hope you enjoy my mod. Its not for everyone, but I've never, ever, in 8 years of playing Minecraft, liked the fact that diamond gear is made of gems.

Remove the mod that requires NEI... More than likely, the mod you have that wants it requires a certain version of NEI, so find that out and install that version. Also make sure that mod is for 1.7.10.

What mods do you have? This looks like a server, what mods does the server have?

Try removing the bottom cake texture.
