Feb 15, 2014You're on the right track! If you set up a testfor and specific respawn area you can testfor players in the respawn area who have a deathCount of 1, give them their arrows, then automatically reset their deathCount to 0. Thats about what I use on my map.Posted in: Redstone Discussion and Mechanisms

Basically, I'm trying to create a variable that will work no matter who is online, as people logging in and out will produce inconsistencies in scoreboard entries. I'm trying to testfor a specific player and a specific score, even if said player is offline.
Could you be a little more specific? I might be able to help you do this in the current version if I could get more details.

Jump ahead to 13:40 and he explains a circuit that is just about what you're looking for. It doesn't reset the input but because it's a flip-flop it will output a pulse on both of the level's states, which is what Im assuming you're aiming for by resetting the input.
I'm curious though, if you want to reset the input, why not just use a button?
