Here are some of the new features you can look forward to on the new convicted.
Commands:
/stats - View multiple interesting statistics.
/kdr - View your kill/death ratio. (Affected by players only, not mobs)
/ping - View your ping.
/ping all - View everyone onlines' ping, and the average server ping.
/locks (free+) - Lock, unlock, and add/remove members to your chests without using shop signs.
/bounty - Bounties are back!
/staff - List online staff, with a cool GUI with player heads and ranks.
/dtitle (donors with custom titles) - Change your own title, once every 24 hours.
/dname (donors with colored names) - Change your own name color, once every 24 hours.
warn (staff ranks) - Warn a user, displaying it clearly on their screen as a title, and playing a sound. Better than warnings in chat.
Features:
Tree farm auto replant and grief protection are back.
Lock your chests via commands, and add members to your protections.
Guard paychecks are back.
Fresh, new, revamped prison.
Faction land claiming.
Performance fixes inside the prison - prison is now in a separate world, located over empty void.
Moderator is now a rank, ChatMod removed.
Omega is now the spawn location for frees, rather than outside the prison.
All punishments are now tracked; each player has a permanent record of their punishments, the reasons, and who they were issued by.
Saplings can no longer be placed in mines.
Better, more visible guard calling plugin; shows on the screen as a title and uses audio.
No longer uses essentials for punishments, a custom plugin was made that keeps track of all punishments, and REQUIRES a reason be given for each punishment.
All known economy breaking farms were blocked.
Many measures introduced to prevent afking.
Admins now see every command players type.
AlphaGuards are now trusted with banning offline players, as we can figure out who banned a player, and why.
Introduced new vanish plugin, which appears to have gotten rid of the vanish glitch, hopefully once and for all.
Mines have been revamped - old useless mines were redone.
Note that this is not EVERY feature that will be added. We still want you to find some on your own. Both the staff list and features are subject to change.
With this, I'd also like to add that we most likely won't be up in 3-4 days. There's no good estimate of how much longer it will take us to complete the server, and any estimation prior to this were false. Once we complete the server, we'll still have to wait on hexa to put up the server, which may take a few more days. Once this happens, we'll schedule a release date for a few days after, so we can give everyone a chance to get the first cells, plots, etc. Until we make a post announcing the official release date, no more estimations will be given. Sorry for any false hope created by previous estimations regarding the launch.
Bounties: When you kill a player, will it drop their head and stuff? (doubt it btw)
Punishments: You said permanent records, lots of troll bans coming in (praise the 1s bans)
Economy Block: How do you make money except mining / quests.
Admin Command View: In b4 spamming /who and other crap.

What times can you guard: On weekdays, I will be able to guard a good 2.5 hours a day, that is of course if my schedule with school and that is normal. On weekends, however, I can get on a lot more, especially because my midterms are over, so I would say more towards the 4 to 5 hour side. This is just a rough estimate.
Do you have experience with prison-themed servers?: Yes, I do have a lot.
Do you have any experience guarding?: Yes I have experience guarding on multiple servers that have closed down now. This includes Convicted Prison, in which I was a guard there for 9 months, it is currently still up and running, and I was actually Guard here for 3 months, then I resigned.
What makes you the best selection for guard?: I think I am the best choice for guard for guard for multiple reasons. The first reason is I am very trustworthy. I don't scam on the server even though it is not against the rules, and don't lie to people. This goes towards me being able to take on the position of guard. I will not at any time abuse my powers at all in any such way, aka, jailing people for no reason, or distributing the use of guard kits. I will remain loyal to the rules and abide by them at all times. The second reason why I am a good choice for guard is that I am very dedicated and active. I joined the server right when it opened, and had fun since. I will try my best not to be inactive, and play for a decent amount of time. Another reason why I think I will be a good choice for guard is that I am friendly. I like helping out others, and being a guard will give me a chance to guide the fellow Block 3 Prisoners to help them rank up. There are guards, however PvP is still high in the area, and many people are dying and losing their hard earned loot. By being a guard, I will attempt to control the PvP, and maintain control over the chaos in Block 3 that is occurring right now. I am a very open person, I have many friends that I have befriended from the old soap, as well as the variety of the players joining. I want to make the prison experience fun, just not for me, but for all. Another reason why I think I would be a good choice for This position of guard is because of my experience in these types of servers. I have played many many prison servers and am very knowledgeable on how they work and function. I hope I will be able to take on this position so I will be able to connect and communicate with other fellow prisoners, and befriend new ones as well. A last reason why I think I would be a good choice for guard is that, I am decent at PvP. This will enable to help fight off those Free's trying to murder the C's, or just campers in general, of course while enforcing the rules. If I have a responsibility, I will deal with it the best I can and hope to succeed. These are some reasons why I think I would be good for guard.

Hopefully, this server will become popular once again, like back in the old days, and strive further than any other server out there! Maybe the slots will have to get upgraded! ;3
