The Monster Spawner is one of the more underrated blocks in Minecraft. In Survival Mode, they simply serve as a basic challenge and, with a few adjustments, as a rudimentary experience and mob farm. In Creative Mode it has more interesting uses, primarily in map-making. It can be used in PvE, PvP, PvEvP, adventure maps, etc. In order to obtain such a block in Creative Mode, it depends on your game platform.

On Minecraft Computer Edition, one must obtain it through the /give command.

On Minecraft Pocket Edition, it readily obtainable in the Creative Inventory.

On Minecraft Console Edition however, it is unobtainable. It is not obtainable through the Creative Inventory and one cannot use the /give command as it is not implemented. The only way to obtain the Monster Spawner block is through console modding, which is against the Xbox Terms of Use and Sony Entertainment Network Terms of Service.

This problem creates a compatibility issue between the 3 major platforms.

I simply ask that the Monster Spawner block is added to the Creative Blocklist as seen in Minecraft Pocket Edition to Minecraft Console Edition.

Note for 4j- The block already exists and the mechanics are already there so its just a matter of making it accessible to Creative Mode players on Console.

EDIT- I understand that there is a mob cap on the console edition and that by adding Monster Spawners to the Creative Blocklist, it would be counter-productive to this mob cap, but that there is a mob cap on the Pocket Edition and that didn't stop you from still adding it to the Blocklist...
