    Would just like to say the Lord of the Rings mod is definitely deserving of recognition, the mod author has put a lot of time and effort into it.Probably shouldn't be suggestioning it here since it's still in 1.7.10, kind of hypocritical of me in some sense. :P

    Are there any known bugs with the 1.58-147 version that causes your entire player file to be deleted(i.e. inventory wiped, xp set to 0, and player sent back to world spawn as if he logged in for the first time)? Only the player file is deleted as far as as I know. This happens randomly when I log in to my SP world, all of the changes are saved(i.e. block breaks, placed blocks etc.). I have no idea what mod could be causing it, I've tried fixing this bug. This is the only mod that I can think of that might do stuff to the player file.

    I can't seem to get to the Minecraft Customizer, whenever I try to go to the site, it redirects me to some random ad, anyone know why?

    EDIT: I just visited the site's thread, and it's about 2 years old and the newest few posts say the sites down, I'm not sure how some people got textures from their, but it looks like it's no longer functioning.

    Can we please have a cofig to enable or disable Redstone and Diamond ore generation in middle earth? I want to play with other mods in Mddle eath, but most mods i want to use require diamonds and/or redstone. If i need redstone or diamonds i would need to go the overworld and create a second mine their, and then i wouldn't be able to get resources like copper or tin, so i'd need a mine their as well.

    Indeed, any node can be used to create a Vortex. All you need is to transduce a node, set up the 6 Vortex Attenuators beforehand so they would hit the bare node, and attach and activate four Transduction Amplifiers.


    OK thanks, just tested it in a Creative World, apparently i misread some text in the Thaumonomicon.
