    Hi all, as you can see my name is raven and, as you can not see i am a avid player of extreme modded minecraft. I (try to) make many large modpacks and throw around many mod ideas, however this is the only one that i have ever posted.Onto the mod now.

    My mod idea is about custom warhorns. each player would craft a warhorn form a mob drop from... a ram or ox i guess. after you have made your horn, when used for the first time (or on a keybind maybe?) it would open a gui. the horn gui would have a few sliders and boxes. the boxes would determine whether the horn blew low then high, high then low, one steady note, ect. the slider(s) would change the pitch of the horn, you could have just on slider, and low/high could just be a set octave or two higher or lower than each other, or maybe you could set a note for each sepratly. any how, lastly, you could pick a buff or debuff if they aren't whitelisted (see \/) (or it could be a set buff for all horns/ all horns made form one mob's horn drop) and the players that would get the buff when the horn is blown in a range (changeable in config?) of them. (maybe the player needs to accept?)

    any how, i think you would need to be pretty handy at modding and such, so if you like this idea, please link the thread to anyone you know can mod and leave a comment below. :lol:

    Did you log in with a email or something? I know its ftb but if you change any account settings, you could have done that by mistake. If that isn't it, go to the thaumcraft4 thread, they fix that kinda stuff all the time. They will get it back.

    Or tell you that you broke life and its gone for good. Why? Cuz reasons.

    What if you made it too big and too powerful, and it became an elemental portal? A gateway into another realm, themed for its element? What if the portal changed the area within a certain distance of it into the same as that realm?

    that both sounds cool, and makes sense. it has already been said that nodes are portals to another dimension, energising them is just ripping them open. maybe not merging them but i have seen 700 aspect nodes, they are larger than some houses. if you could somehow open one up just a LITTLE more, then maybe a player could slip thru.

    1: cool mod (but it's just annoying when thats the only thing people post. Sooo...) 2: are you still taking suggestions Like you were when this was WIP? 3: if so, I posted an idea that got no response from the guys on the TC4 thread, I hope someone here likes it, a modified wand recharge pedestal that uses salis mundas and vis/centra vis/ect to bind the core/rod to the caps more properly, giving a 5% vis discount or something. 4: thanks!

    also, i noticed that there is not a lot of magic holding high level wands/staffs together and came new mechanic that could be implemented to wand/staff crafting, it could give a 5% discount to wand/staffs of just be needed to make wands/staffs past a threshold. it would use a altered wand recharge pedestal and would need you to add your caps and rod/core like normal, however into a new GUI, one on top of the other instead of a crafting grid causing them to float in 3d on top of the pedestal. you would then need to supply some kind of power (centervis or something) and salis mundus then right click with any wand to start the process. the floating parts would spin slowly as their particle bonds grow stronger before... "you seem to have found a way to minimize the small vis leaks and inefficiencies in your wands and staffs by using some salis mundus as a binding agent and more vis over a longer time to attach your caps to your rod or core." this also opens the ability for wand/staff upgrades in the future, not that thaumcraft is that kind of mod. soz for the long post.

    do wither skulls have a greater alter effect then normal skulls? i covered all available places and still got stupid instability, also, the T5 runic enchant is expensive, but it takes over 1/2 an hour, its just to long i say.

    this also hepened to me on 9/6/2014 in version 0.6.0, please fix it ASAP.
    also, i think this a very good mod and will be adding it to most/all of my packs, keep up the good work and i hope the book thing works out well.
