Hm I would say it could be an error with world as it saved to check this try putting in a new world, do a little bit then quit the same way you did before and open it up again the same way you did before. If the resualt is the same then something messed up with the installation or minecraft version you used.

Okay well it can be due to your gui setting that you can't press or find next however she may have given you a task though as part of the tutorial. To your second problem I think you can buy coal from the black smith and then use the furnaces in his house. Finally nice picture?

Try reinstalling after clearing your .minecraft file.

One question, just about mods in general tho. When it goes into multiplayer, does each player have to install the mod, or do I set up the server in a way that allows everybody to just play? Also, will there be an install guide for it, if you have to do something different for the multiplayer?

I think it'll be that you install it on player and server due to the complexity of it. Also when you do start recording it please post the first video here or link it and it will be added.

Sometimes it's a bug but other times it means that you aren't able to talk to him yet. Also what does your current task say?

My problem is, that i've made it to the ice boss, and he isn't spawned. I have tried using the respawn function, and i've tried walking in and out, but that hasn't seemed to make him spawn. I also realize there was a cut scene that was supposed to occur, I never got that either.

Which respawn function because there's two and one respawns the npcs only but if he still doesn't then give your self the other piece you need or wait a week for the next update which will still have bugs but different ones so you should get passed it.

Keep going deeper although you will have to go higher and there's a wall which you can parkoor over but you can use too many items to fly over (trust me it's hard 20-30 tries while fighting the boss)

Why guards not attack mobs ;o?

The quests reset everytime you die or relog and guards are there to show you the boundry line of the safe zone which if the monsters go past die through wizardry. WIth the languague I don't know but I think you may be able to change the languague when it's combatable with 1.5.1 I'm not sure though.

For people wondering how to install this on the new launcher, here's a tutorial that I used to get it working.
Edit: Just be sure to use 1.5.1 no higher, it'll automagically downgrade to 1.2.5

The old launcher is broken. Mojang tried to fix it, but they could not figure out the problem. noone is able to use it now. and, i beleive the installation on the new launcher is almost the same as on the old.

to cheat in money, you must also cheat in levels. hit K and 0 (zero, not o) at the same time to do it.

Screen-dependent settings will be available in another version; but probably not the next.
I know that your problem was that you were using 64bits java instead of 32bits java; but my installer should change your java version automatically; and I don't know why it doesn't work on some computers: that's why I need your logs.

It does nothing on the quality; it just simulates a bigger web browser; but you won't see big pixels.

This glitch is re-accurring to me at random times. I teleported to ice village and the fire ability wont shoot no matter what button i press. The standard Y doesn't work and the Z doesn't work.

Solution (well, I'm using a Assassin and a Qwerty keyboard so this may not work):
Go to the options menu. There, you'll see a button labeled qwerty. This is the keyboard button. Click it and exit. Now, try activating the y key. If it doesn't work, do what I just said again.
