The game is basically like creative mode where you can get all your resources with no effort (after you're done making the farm). I don't know about you, but I find it fun to explore, mine, and hunt for monsters. If you are only playing the game to build stuff, why not just play on Creative mode?

It takes effort to build interesting automated things. I don't know about you, but it is rewarding to play in survival, and take the time to gather the resources to make interesting automated things. The resources from them are just as rewarding. Just because I have an XP farm, doesn't mean that I don't still fight mobs, and explore, and mine.

It does take a lot of effort to make one, but after you're finished building it, you can practically get as much XP as you want with no effort. Pretty much cheating if you ask me.

I would consider it "cheating" if I had to use commands or go into creative mode to accomplish what I want to do.

I solely play survival, so the above options aren't an option for me.

All the resources I need are in the game, and I use the mechanics of those resources to do what I want to do.

Is this really because of the HOIC squad? Crazy lol I can't believe they really went this far just want people to "go outside".

Yeah, kind of like a double-edged sword. Maybe they should "go outside" and stop the attack, and step away from the computer for a bit.

They are actually Muslims. As far as I know, the Quran actually does say to do this. The Muslims that they're attacking just aren't as extreme as they are. Some say not as loyal. I don't really have a strong opinion because I don't know tons about the Quran. I do have a friend who as studied it, though, so I could ask him.

No, they aren't Muslims. They are criminals who twist verses to commit their criminal acts, and use them to justify those acts.

I'm sure your friend who has studied the Quran doesn't live in the "dark ages".

Also, the media wants you to believe that every Muslim is a "terrorist". They use inaccurate terms when reporting, and in a sense creates unnecessary panic, and to some degree, a form of prejudice.

A real Muslim understands, that we all bleed red.

posted a message on Your opinion about cuss words in player names

But when the young player sees a username with cuss words in it, the young player might start telling his/her friends about how there were cuss words in a players name. The young player might even say what cuss words were in the name.

I am also sure that parents don't want their children playing on servers with players that have their IGN set as (profanity)NubPwner(profanity).

I think they mainly do it for attention.

Lack of in real life. I guess they figure having a name like that is appealing.

Yeah...I run into that problem too many times. My friend who has been playing Minecraft for a little over a year still builds dirt and sand houses that are two blocks high (on the inside). When I try to encourage her to build something greater, something that most people would look at and say "Hey, that's pretty good", she refuses. She's content to live in her own "blissful" unimaginative builds instead of actually getting better at the game. "But, Wolf, it's a hobbit hole!" Than why do all your other houses look like hobbit holes? (sigh...) Any advise?

My advice is: If that is what makes her happy and content, let it be.

Trying to impose or expect everyone to be able to be great builders is partly why some people dislike Minecraft.

    Everyone is different.

I tend to associate with people who share most of the same interests as me.

Sometimes we run into those who will criticize us for what we like, who we are, what we believe in, etc.

The fact is, I can control who I want in my life, and can easily get rid of any noise.

The short version is: If they don't like Minecraft, they don't have to play it, but don't expect me to not like Minecraft because you don't.
