I run a Family server. that means, most of my players who log in are kids/teenager. Yes, there are a few adults, but not the entirety of the base. I have never used a cent donated to the server for anything other than the server. And since mostly kids play on it, they can't afford to donate or what ever. That's why I always let the server be 100% free. No one ever had to pay to log on, but I have depended on donations (or monthly rank purchases, etc.) to keep the server up and running. So, you tell me, Rampage_x, how I'm supposed to charge a "monthly fee?" My server population will lose 90%, and only about 5 people could play if I use a monthly charge. Does that sound fair to you? Or are you just a mojang apologist?
If they don't care about you or the server enough to just donate, without expecting a "rank" in return, I say, close it down.
If they care about your server, and want to keep it up and running, wouldn't they continue to do business as usual?
I fully understand your point of view, no need to call names and make assumptions.

Updated the OP with more in-depth information about the server.
I also added a few screenshots.

I have 8 gigs, and using Firefox or Waterfox causes that.

Bless your heart. I couldn't imagine having only 255 mb of ram to work with.

As I said, I restarted my computer, opened both browsers, and put in the forum address.
Waterfox is known for memory leaks, and the likes.
I'll just continue to use Edge.

For comparison purposes only, I did a fresh restart, and opened http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums in Waterfox, and Edge.
Seeing as I have a 64bit OS, I use Waterfox, instead of Firefox, but the ram usage is about the same for both browsers.
In the screenshot, I opened the forum in one browser, then opened it in the other browser. Both browsers have no add-ons or search engines. Both are just bare browsers.
See spoiler for details:
Pretty big difference if you ask me. The longer I use Waterfox, and browse the forums, the more ram is consumes.

Point noted.
I haven't had a problem with it yet. (fingers crossed)
I do know it hasn't used a silly amount of ram and froze which the 2 browsers above were doing. I had a "what" moment when I looked at Task Manager and seen the amount of ram they were using.

I think their issue is browser related.
I seem to have problems with Firefox and Waterfox consuming pathetic amounts of ram.
I have just been using Edge.

Cowboy up!

Well, once you get the server up, and running, I would start by advertising it right here on the forum.
For reference: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/servers
Later on you can advertise on other server listing sites.

Well, you may not be able to delete the profile, but unless someone has tied you down to a chair, and is forcing you to read the forums, or wherever else is making you depressed, then you have complete control over your own well-being.
Why would you let it depress you? Just stop reading the forums.
It is kind of like me, I hate the media here, so I hardly watch the news.

What I don't understand is: with multiple game version profiles, what is the big deal about the updates?
If someone doesn't like a particular update, then they don't have to update!
If they only like certain features from one update, but not some of the features from another, that is their own problem. Can't have it all in life right?
AND if they do have it all, outside of Minecraft, then they are rich and spoiled! They might want to consider making their own game to their liking, with every idea they could imagine.
I generally enjoy reading the walls of complaints, and fits. I can always use a good giggle, and shrug and say "whatever".

Server is currently down.
The air conditioning system where the server is housed and hosted is currently not functioning properly.
To prevent systems from overheating, they have all been shutdown.
A tech is supposed to go there by between 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. CST. IF nothing has to be ordered, hopefully the A/C will be fixed today.
I will update once it is fixed.
Edit - As of 3:30 a.m. CST, the server is back up!

Why would Mojang refund the account?
There has to be proof of an actual purchase. If there isn't any valid proof, they aren't just going to give someone a refund because they said their account was stolen, much less to someone who handed the login/account information to the crook on a silver platter.

For future reference: Don't do that. NEVER give anyone your login/account information under ANY circumstances.
You don't need anyone else to modify your game but YOU!
If you know the original email you used when your purchased your account, and if you maybe can lookup the credit card information you used at the time, there is still a chance.
If you don't have the transaction ID, or you can't get the required card information, I'm afraid you will have to purchase another account.
