how many (more well-known, if any at all) game companies do you know that have sued for anything?
Capcom filed suit against Data East Corporation (Data East ISA, Inc.) in 1994, alleging that Data East had knocked off Capcom's Street Fighter characters for its Fighter's History game
In November 1997, Nintendo sued guidebook publisher Prima Guides (Imagine Media) for allegedly lifting maps and tips for GoldenEye 007 out of Nintendo's publication Nintendo Power and then making a profit on the guide.
n April 1999, a California court denied an injunction Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) sought against software emulator maker Bleem that would keep the company from publishing its PlayStation emulator for the PC
Sega of America sought legal action against Electronic Arts, Fox Filmed Entertainment, Vivendi Universal's Fox Interactive, and Radical Games for The Simpsons Road Rage in December 2003.
There is more but I got bored

You are allowed to use a mouse with 2 buttons on a Mac, it is not against any laws.

A big city park, this can take the center of the town, and it will also help divide the town into segments, you can have on one side of the park the residential area (eg houses, church and supermarket ) and on the other side the business district (eg city hall, bank and post office), this should keep you busy for a while

Maybe you missed the part where it was mentioned she was 10 ?
10 year old girl... diamond, gold, shiny things... sounds about right to me.
mlrt, your sister has a bright Minecraft future ahead of her, if she can do this now, I would be very interested to see her future buildings

My specs
Windows XP media center edition, version 2002. HP AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Tech TL-50 803 MHz, 1,96 GB of RAM
So in the crappy laptop departement I think I beat most people here, but I'm not trying to compete, just trying to make a point.
I never lagged on vanilla, but when I started modding, certain situations (engines, quarries etc running), made my game unplayable. After doing so many things, finally now I run MC as fast as I can (1 GB of ram...100%)
So PLEASE before whining and blaming MC (like so many posts I've read in these forums) do this.
-Locate where Mincraft.exe is, mine is on my desktop
-If your Mincraft.exe is on your desktop copy and paste the following in a notepad document:
@echo off
start /high javaw -Xms1024m -Xmx1024m -
jar "C:\Documents and
Settings\ComputerName\Desktop\Minecraft.exe"
-Replace ComputerName with your coputer name
-If your Minecraft.exe is not on your desktop, then replace that with whatever file name you have it in
-Click on 'Save as". NOTE in most cases the 'Save as type' field will be populated with the words 'Text Document(''.txt) ' change it to 'All Files'...It won't work if you don't do this.
-File name Minecraft.bat
-save in the same location as Minecraft.exe
-double click on the file you just created, MC should start, congratulations you are now running MC at 100%
I hope it is clear,I think I made it so my grand mother can follow these steps, hope this helps some of my fellow mincrafters with **** boxes like mine

By the way the sport is called football EVERYWHERE in the world except in North America.
American Football,Why a sport that is played with an oval shaped thing and 99% by hand called football will never make sense to me

lol thanks, done that, all that does is it gives the launcher more ram, in game the allocation to minecraft does not change.
I did find the solution to MY problem, I installed manually all the mods and teturepack I wanted manually into a clean jar and now run the game at 100%
The advantage is I only installed the mods that I wanted from the pack.. which is less than 50 %, and installed mods that are not in the pack, the disadvantage, having to update all of this every once in a while

Thank you for that, yeah I did that already but with that method I am only able to run vanilla, and mods added manually at 100%... (by the way, it does not matter how much ram you allocate, 100% = 1gig, so allocating 2 or 3 gigs of ram won't change it from 1 gig)
You will have a lot of fun
All the guides out there don't apply to me, I use the the Technic launcher to play tekkit, it won't work because the launcher is the one opening mincraft I guess, I don't know I am still looking, hoping to find somebody that can help

Since I was not doing much anymore, I fell asleep I woke up by chance a few hours later and saw the horror.
There was a big hole in place of my power station(not a single engine survived), the refinery gone (it is very expensive to make early game), all I had left was 2 tanks of fuel, everything else blew up.
So yeah, quit game, deleted world and went back to sleep pretty pissed off.

How did you do that, I would appreciate it if you told me.
As for your TNT here is an idea, try exploring for the biggest mountain you can find, hollow it out with your TNT (note: you can control the blast with obsidian since TNT can`t destroy it) then use it as the foundation of a huge tower or castle.

As it was mentioned before, Minecraft was developed so you can add mods to it, so mods or no, we are all `playing it for what it is`
It should not bother you that a lot of players are playing different types of games since it is not affecting you/your game
