Hi, its been about 2 years since I've last touched Minecraft, and I am stuck with the traditional knowledge of how install mods.
I see that Minecraft is currently, running 1.7.9, but why can't I find anything anything of that Mod/Texture pack of that version? Everything seems to be for 1.7.2 or whatever. Can somebody explain? Really confused here haha.
The only reason why you, too, have a dumb pony as you avatar is primarily because of the meme itself. I can say however retarded it is, because 50% of the forums here show no stopping of pony invasion, thats just how bad it is.
Oh look, see what happens when its not a simple pack?
Its great so far, but note the redstone and the likes; its like a giant ball, lol.
Most of the blocks are very flat, and you rails are light and weird.
The lighted pumpkin makes no sense at all, and the ladders are weird too, lol.
For the pistons, there needs to be more definition that the wood is not part of the stone. THey currently like they are fused together which is a bit odd.
There is WAAAAAAYY too much grain in this pack. Normally you would only see something crappy like that in 128x packs. I reckon you used images off of google or something, thats why.
Sorry for the totally poor phrasing. What I really wanted to ask was: How would I get rid of the already-generated blocks, so I can generate v1.8 ones?
You can use mcedit I guess, but besides that there is no way.
I have thought of this, but how? Do I just hit delete on selected chunks? Wouldn't that just leave a big crater? lol.
Ok, so learn how to post pictures before you try to.
He is obviously new. Instead of being a typical retard, you should have helped him out instead.
What you can do is copy and paste the image from that terrain.png, to the one that needs replaced. If the terrain.pngs are of different resolutions, then learn how to resize them the correct way from this image:

One suggestion though, your lightstone needs work. Its seems a bit bland.
