Since of the current statistics of the usage of this program, I have no choice but to declare it dead.
Dead. Meaning no more updates. No more bug reports. No more features.
But not that many people care, since everyone else uses other people's server software. Because I can't make half-decent server hosting software. And it is that reason alone why I have moved my main programming priority to the KSP forum.
For the people who do care, if you can keep this thread alive for at least a week, I will start work on the successor to this program. No, not Obsidian 2, as it will be focused on providing easy server hosting for virtually all games that have multiplayer. (Not to mention a secret project I'm working on, called RCraft, a pure minecraft classic server software.) And don't fret, as Minecraft will still be on the list of high priority games I will be working on.
But still, if that goal falls short, Obsidian and Cobalt will be dead. Forever.
I can help you out with this again.
I was busy in school, but I have time again.
Go ahead and fork the obsidian github repository then when you're done make a pull request. I am also taxed for time as I am committed to alot of new projects I am making. One of them is a unity game and another one is a texture pack creator, so I'm taking turns everyday between 9 projects.
for me it says: C:\Program Files (x86)\Obsidian\Server>java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar "C:\Program Files (x86)\Obsidian\Server\minecraft_server.jar" nogui
'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
[2.1] almost released!
You know what that means! New Features!
And the showcased feature will be... Automation!
[2.1] will be released in about an hour. Please stay on the edge of your seats.
So I take it the OS X version will be greatly delayed, if not canceled out right?
If no help is received (From you, the person that wants this on OS X), i'm afraid so. If the OS X version is released, then it is estimated that many features will be cut and many more bugs will be introduced.

Yep, Obsidian [3.0B] is out!
But before you get it, beware of all the bugs it may contain. It is a beta, after all.
Why are you still here? Go get it! I'm off to work on RMI now!

It should work for 1.5 (infact any version) as it currently is.
