Oct 28, 2013Qwertygiy posted a message on Community Creations - Canon (in D) with Minecraft SoundsCanon in D is one of my favorite songs, and I cannot think of a more appropriate melody to make this sort of Minecraft mashup. Seriously awesome. I'm only disappointed that I didn't get to do this myself. I'm a little surprised that there were no cows or chickens singing along with the melody or a chorus of ghasts, but the beat was pretty well done.Posted in: News

Feb 23, 2012Qwertygiy posted a message on 12w08a Snapshot ReleasedIs it just me, or is Minecraft becoming Battlecraft? Yes, it's nice to have something to build against, and almost nobody will tell you that having villages to protect is a bad thing; but I seriously haven't seen much official attention to the actual mining basics of the game.Posted in: News

Nov 18, 2011Qwertygiy posted a message on Minecraft 360!Uh, dude? Minecraft isn't supposed to be HD. It's 16 pixel by 16 pixel blocks. Not to mention that if they make it Konnect (spelling ?) compatible... THAT would be pure epicness.Posted in: News

What's the simplest moving object in Minecraft? What do both villagers and zombies love to play with?

I'm not sure ThaumCraft has anything to do with this. Are you using 1.6.4? If so, this is definitely the fault of the great XCompWiz, Writer of Ages, Master of MystCraft. Take a linking book over to binarymage.com and give him the bug report.

Make Crystal Clusters and place them near your research table. This will slowly give you free primal aspects.
Use the Deconstruction Table to tear down items into primal aspects.
Research the different varieties of wood, wool, stone bricks, tools of every type, armor of every type, metal blocks and ores and nuggets and dusts instead of just ingots, crop blocks as well as crop harvests and seeds...

They poison you when you're in it, they turn all your blocks to purple goo, they corrupt passive mobs into hostile monsters, they spawn vicious new... things... Bad stuff, dude, bad stuff.
Has anyone found a good, reliable way of getting Ignis? In vis form, not in research points. Creepers and having the luck to find a node with Ignis are the only two ways I have found, and creepers are not only rather difficult to kill properly, but they don't always drop an aspect orb,

You know how when you research an aspect, and it's not a proper one in the item you're researching, and that aspect gets a red X in the corner?
What does it mean when you have a red fish?
I'm serious.

I only have six words.
Oh my God, this is epic.
The Thaumometer is infinitely more awesome than the old incarnation was. The research table, wow, just wow. It's like those Doodle God flash games. I love it. It's all just too awesome.
I am afraid, however, that I'll run out of aspects... Hopefully I'll be able to research my way out of that

I can confirm this.

1.6.2 is the version you'll want for most things. ThaumCraft, however, is still not updated to 1.6.anything.

No, actually, it can't. It's like having a recipe for alien cheeseballs requiring the eyeballs of a Martian. Yes, there is a recipe for it. Can the alien cheeseballs actually be created? No.
0
Well.
And since fire is unobtainable legitimately, chain armor doesn't really count any more than bedrock does.

If Desert Crawlers still exist and still drop nearly a full stack of sandstone, I'm gonna be mad.
Also if all the chests are still block models instead of chests, heh...
EDIT: It's incompatible with Rei's Minimap! I'm also using NEI, OptiFine, IronChests, EnderChests, ChickenChunks, and Carpenter's Blocks, all of which work with Rei's without DivineRPG. I disable DivineRPG, and Rei's works fine. I can't use any other minimap, and I'm literally so lost without it I can still access the GUI for Rei's and I think I can set checkpoints, but the actual map is gone.
Also, every time I close Minecraft and reload my DivineRPG world, EVERY time, without changing anything, FML tells me I get a TON of mismatches.... Like, it's telling me _everything_ DivineRPG adds is mismatched :/
Also, I just instantly broke a Realmite Block with my fist. It didn't drop anything, though.

Each bucket of molten metal... contains 1 millibucket.
That means it takes 1,000 buckets, to equal one bucket.
Ouch.

It just needs a different pattern, made in the Stencil Table, and then make it like any other part, except instead of, say, one block of cobblestone, you need three.
