How did you find us?: About a year ago, my friend Turtlez16 and I decided we'd find a cool server and start a survival that we'd actually see-through to the end. After 5 minutes of searching through the forums, we found this server. Logging on as guests, we were instantly greeted by warm welcomes, and a friendly community, which we quickly learned to appreciate. After playing for an hour straight, we felt as though this was the server we were searching for.
What do you like the most about us?: The friendly staff and helpful community are among my favourite aspects of Emeralds.
Any suggestions for our server?: Nope, except maybe add a /tpa plugin?
What world should be used for gathering wood/mining (hint: read our features)?: /farmworld

How did you find us?: I found this server a while ago while searching the forums for a friendly, well-run, all-around nice server, to play on with my friend Turtlez16. I've played on the old server (before the reset) for a few months.
What do you like the most about us?: I really appreciate the mature community, and friendly staff. From what I remember, your moderators and other staff members always responded to my questions immediately, and enthusiastically. (By the way, is DanceFalconDance still an admin?)
Any suggestions for our server?: No, not at all
What world should be used for gathering wood/mining (hint: read our features)?: FARMWORLD
How do you like to play Minecraft: Well, whenever I think of Minecraft, I think of happy times spent building countless creations with other people. No mods, no game-altering plugins, and no griefing. Just plain, simple, vanilla multiplayer. In my opinion, the people at Mojang made Minecraft the way it is for a reason, and that is that vanilla is the best way to play minecraft.
What interested you in Amazocraft: I've been looking long and hard (a lot longer than you can imagine) for a good, friendly, vanilla, pvp server. Up until now, all of these servers fell short of the expectations they set. The reason that I believe that this server is different, is the fact that many of the rules are about "putting-down" other players. Furthermore, knowing that you generally accept older players assures me of the maturity level on the server.
What will you bring to the community: I am a helpful, nice, and appreciative player. I never grief or insult other players, through builds or chat. The reason for this, is that I strongly believe that minecraft is an artistic game, and all artists have their own ways to create. Therefore, nobody has the right to destroy these creations, or say that they're "bad". What rule is most important to you: The rule that I feel is most important is "Act with maturity", because if all players on the server were to act with maturity, there would be no griefing, insulting, hacking, stealing, etc., because everyone would have respect for other players. Therefore, to me, "Act maturely" is the most important, and only necessary rule.
What is the most important info about Grief Prevention: The most important info about grief prevention is that we can use lockette, to protect chests and doors. No one has the right to take MY diamonds
iGN:QuintupleTomb34 Age:13 Country:Canada Reason: Whenever I try to join a new server, I seem to be instantly disappointed with all of the stealing, griefing, and pvp that goes on. This server just seems friendly. I'm also not really a fan of all of these bukkit plugins. I think that vanilla Minecraft is the way that minecraft was meant to be played.
MinecraftUsername: QuintupleTomb34 How did you find us?:I found your server on the Minecraft forums. Me and my friend were just looking for a cool new server to start fresh, and your's caught our eye. Whydo you like our server?:I like the friendly, mature community, and the fact that everyone's ready to help. The server seems very well-run. Any suggestions based upon your first impressions?:None at all. I don't have much experience in running servers, but you seem to have though it through. Have you read our rules?: What command should be used if you need a mod, would like to report griefing,or suggest something?: /modreq Anythingelse we should know about you?:I have been playing minecraft for the past year, and my favourite part is multi-player. I am helpful, and willing to contribute to the community.
Tried to figure out what the heck "redstone, redstone torches, redstone repeaters, levers, pistons, buttons, lapis lazuli, trap doors, saddles, minecarts, tracks, slime balls, ender eyes, ender pearls, music discs, note blocks, fire charges, potions, flint and steel, shears, gunpowder, flint, clay, cocoa beans, glowstone, glowstone dust, ink sacks, and dye" meant. Don't get me started about my first night of playing tekkit.
Thanks for the great article, very helpful, ver well-written. Unfortunately, I just can't understand even the simplest coding. It's not your fault, it's just me. I'm not stupid, or anything, it's just computers confuse me. *sigh*...
I am looking for a world editing mod for single player on Minecraft. From what I read, the single player commands mod won't be updating to 1.3.2 for a while, and I would like to have a mod that would at least allow me copy and paste selections in my world. If anybody knows a mod that could help me, or has even created one, let me know in a post below.
