You could download a pre made modded texture pack like attack of the b team sphax pack. If it has the textures in it you want to change you could just copy the .png file, change it, then replace the old png file with the one you just made.

Using CIT can you change the enchantment glint of an item with a certain enchantment? For instance, if a diamond and iron sword has sharpness on them, the enchantment glint would be a different pattern. Or can you change how the glint looks on a certain item?

Just want to say it is not fun typing in this editor on mobile. This took like an hour to type. Ok so, using CIT can I change the texture of a defined item with a certain enchantment. Would this mean that I could edit the enchantment glint too of said item. Using that method.

Ok well I am trying to use MCPatcher/Optifine to manipulate the enchantment glint. I heard you can add an enchantment glint to any item you want using MCPatcher/Optifine. But I am not sure how to do that or if that is a thing. My goal is to remove the enchantment glint from potions using MCPatcher/Optifine. I figure if you can add the glint to something then you can remove it to.

Does anyone know of a way I can use MCPatcher/OptiFine in 1.8 to manipulate the enchantment glint texture. I have heard on an older forum there is a way to add enchantment glint to certain items using MCPatcher. I want to remove the enchantment glint from certain items, eg. potions. If knows of a way please share! :)

posted a message on Enchantment Glint

Ok so recently I was tinkering around with my texture pack changing the potion colors using Optifine's Custom Colors. And I noticed that the glint really makes it hard to see the color of the potion. So I got rid of the glint and it looked awesome. But obviously now it doesn't work on armor :(. So my question is, how would I make the glint lighter? So that I can clearly see potion colors/ armor color but still see a difference between enchanted and not enchanted. There was already a forum posted on changing the color of the enchantment glint but I am not sure if that is what I need. I am pretty sure there is 3 elements to the glow, animation, color, and pattern, right? So I'd guess changing the color would make the most difference but I am not sure how to do that. Any ideas?

posted a message on Recoloring Leaves

Hi, so I've been trying to color leaves. I have read many threads already on how to do it and I am still having issues. So I want to recolor all the leaves except for birth and spruce for now, because I know that is a different case. So here is what I want to do and I have tried to do, make the foliage.png blank because I believe that is what makes every leave but spruce and birch their colors. So if I make that file blank in theory I can use a texture pack to do the rest. So instead of files like jungle leaves being grayscales I could color them and add them to a texture pack. So this should make it so all of those leaves are the same not depending on biome and they are controlled by the texture pack. That is my goal but I have yet to get there. I used this template for my foliage.png:

    http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/resource-packs/resource-pack-discussion/1255785-biome-palette-template-outdated-working-on-new

and I colored the circles random colors and it worked, but when I made the circles white it just made the leaves white and some black. When I made the entire file just transparent it made all the leaves black. So does anyone know how can I get rid of biome colors controlling my leaves, and make my leaves only rely on my texture pack?

Fixed it, it was a problem with the original resource pack, not optifine. I don't understand though why it doesn't work in 1.8 and it works in 1.9 optifine or not but whatever. Sorry to waste your time.

I seem to have heard false information, so I tested it by changing the hover over buttons texture and I just scribbled in one color on one side of the line and scribbled in another color on the other side of the line. So when I hovered over buttons It showed both of my scribbles on all kinds of sizes of buttons and I guess just got rid of the middle when it was resizing the texture. I still don't understand it, I am going to look into it more but I think it is irrelevant to the glitch. Also I added a 3 pixel wide stroke to the hover over button texture instead of a 2 wide stroke I previously used when I got the glitch. And I see the newly added line of the stroke all around the button in the control panel. And the other of the 2 pixels surround the button 3 out of the 4 sides except for the bottom side. I don't understand this at all. If someone could please try this out on their own computer using some graphic desinger that isn't pixelmator, I think that would fill in some blanks. I just don't understand how the stroke works perfectly fine in other panels that are not the controls screen and on all sizes of buttons. If you feel confused on my bug you can look back to my previous post with videos here:http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/mapping-and-modding/minecraft-mods/1272953-optifine-hd-b6-fps-boost-dynamic-lights-shaders?page=2508#c52130
