when i was referring to people complaining about things not going with minecraft i was talking about things that have already been added. those people where questioning decisions made by Mojang, Mojang has decided NOT to add guns. the reason? they do not go with minecraft and are unbalancing. -

Maybe have them grab you and sink you down to the bottom of the water they are in? - To post a comment, please login.

I'd imagine that's because it's physically impossible for an emerald ore to spawn in a plains biome...

your lack of attention saddens me.

Etho...he did. Once in single player and on the Mindcrack server. On his own.

onlymost useful on pickaxes.Best uses for Silk Touch:
Ice
Smooth Stone
Ore Collection (redstone/lapis to save inventory space or to fortune them and the others later...again, to save inventory space)
Glowstone Blocks
Webs
Let's face it...Glowstone and webs aren't quite useful (at least when affected by Silk Touch).
And also, why did you trade him to find out what enchantment it was? The resulting purchase tells you what the enchantments are when you hover over it.

I ended up checking out a server called TheJunkyard129 (not plugging) and ended up making quite a few friends off of there. I don't know them in person, but they still became a group that I could meet on that server and mess around with.
My advice is to just try out some servers and find one that's good for you. When you have, then start replying to some of the conversations in the chat (for example, if someone asks a question you know the answer to, then answer it). Make whitty jokes about some of the annoying parts of minecraft (i.e. "Gravel. My worst enemy" whilst mining and striking into a huge vein of gravel). Eventually, people will end up saying things like "Hey ____" to you when you log on. After that, you can start poking around and asking what they're doing and if you can help, or just hang around and stuff. That's pretty much how making friends is in real life (though it isn't as hard or as long a task that I made it sound).
