posted a message on Saddles do NOT need a recipe! (POPULAR)
I really do think saddles should have a crafting recipe, but complaining for it isn't the answer. People wanted craftable saddles for a long time, people just started complaining because a really good use was added for them. I guess, to me at least, it would just make sense to be able to craft saddles with leather and other materials.

posted a message on Complaining VS Well written responses.
Something recently came up to me, and that was that someone said that complaining is the only way to get Mojang to change their minds and change a feature. I, of course, thought that was total BS because he used false examples with no proof, was a hypocrite, upon other things defending complaining on the forums. I, myself, think that well written posts will be much more persuasive than complaining about something. But I am I wrong? Should I complain about everything that was added that I don't like and complain about what hasn't been added with constant insults and threats? I HIGHLY doubt it, and think that just stating your opinions is better that "TIS SUX, CHANG IT NAO" in getting something actually changed. But I want to hear from the community. Is the person defending mindlessly complaings, that I passed as being an idiot, actually right? Again, doubt it.

posted a message on Snapshots are NOT mini-updates!
Some A LOT of people tend to think that the snapshots are updates in themselves, and should ALWAYS have a lot of content with each one. They are more like betas than demos, they have inevitable bugs that are to be found and fixed. Really, they don't even NEED to let the community have access to snapshots, things could work nearly as well with a small chosen group of people to play it to find any bugs and whatnot. It actually was quite generous of them to make snapshots easier to be downloaded. Instead of bashing on snapshots because of how little features it has or how many bugs it has, just play it if you want to. If you don't want to update your snapshots every now and then, then just play the current update of Minecraft and wait till the full release.

I just made this post to tell people they are NOT entitled to snapshots and they are not exposed to supports mods w/o them updating, if you the mods then they will have to update with the snapshots, or update when the new update is released.

posted a message on Horses... a cheap shot.
*Sigh* This is going to be a long one...
    Quote from peterdetmig

Horses were added in one of the recent snapshots and I find the feature to be a cheap shot, trying to satisfy the community of minecraft Not really, all the features are just because Mojang decided it would be a good feature to Minecraft. Your argument could be used against all features in Minecraft. Horses doesn't fit into minecraft Matter of opinion. I, personally, don't think hoppers fit into Minecraft, but I still know it is a good feature for others even though I do not like it. and should therefore be removed from minecraft as soon as possible. Obviously, like all other ranters about new features. I DON'T LIKE SAID FEATURE, THEREFOR IT SHOULD BE REMOVED ASAP. I would rather like minecraft to take it's own path, than letting it transform into another stereotype RPG game. Obviously, horses = RPG non-Minecraft game. Not that sword fighting, trading, adventure, building, magic, etc, etc is related to RPG games and is completely original to Minecraft. Minecraft can take its own path instead of this one, and that's what I want. Key words are right there. That is what YOU want. Remember, your opinions are not facts. Not to completely stop updating. People use that argument way to much and it doesn't make any sence, so just stop it. Well, your right about one thing. That argument is way over used and used against the wrong arguments. Also, sense*

They make exploring way better. (invalid arguement)
The gameplay of riding horses can be found in so many different games and minecraft shouldn't be one of them. There we go again. Horses OBVIOUSLY is the only thing Minecraft can add that is unoriginal. Other gameplay of other features can be found in so many different games. One of the gameplays in minecraft is exploring and adding the ultimate tool for that only takes the fun part away from it. I don't even understand that sentence. The ultimate tool? All horses do is speed up your movement speed, make you jump higher, and you don't lose as much hunger because you don't have to run. Horses are not a "win" button for exploration. The jump power of the horse is also a major problem. I know that horses can jump high, but the jump height of the horse is just OP. You're only suppose to jump one block high in minecraft and a little more if you create a beacon. Jumping more than 4 blocks, everywhere you want, is just bonkers. Because obviously jumping higher is game breaking. We want you to have to BUILD that dirt pillar! Without having to go through that challenge, Minecraft is nothing! Exploring is made to be easy, it's made to be hard. With horses it's more than just easy. Even before horses, the only place that is "hard" to explore is the Nether, and who would take a horse there? A single slip into lava then you will not only lose your items but also your horse. It's more like walking around and looking at your surroundings, which is not what exploring is really about. The "fun" in exploring is getting from point A to B, and not by jumping in a peaceful straight line. THAT, my friend, is not exploring. It is not about from A to B, it is from point A to uncharted areas, then ending your adventure right back at point A. The challenge itself is the fun part. Like I said, even before horses there wasn't really a challenge in exploring.

They're good for transportation. (They are, but...)
We already have the nether, which also have the purpose of transportation. OBJECTION! The Nether is a whole new dimension, not just a mere travel station. If you don't like using the nether, then use a minecart. I enjoy using both, even after horses. Both of these will be broken, once horses is added. OBJECTION! The Nether's unique feature of 1 Nether block is equal to 8 Overworld blocks can never be replaced. Also, minecarts, when going at full speed, are faster than horses. Combine the two for the fastest Minecraft transportation possible. Sure you can use the work from building the minecart tracks into making a safe way for horses, but still, minecraft are better than horses. They just need more materials than horses. I know it might take a little longer, but if it's time you think about, then Use the nether, because it's way faster. Horses is 4 times faster than walking speed, and the nether is 16 times faster, plus you can use minecarts in the nether. Not really. The Nether is very.. ehh... terrain-y. Unless you make a tunnel of safety, Overworld horses are faster. And if you really want to ride something, then take the pig. HOLD THE PHONE! Do you smell that? It is hypocrisy. You are using the same argument as "It is only optional (Also, your title for the next paragraph)" but in a different word choice, which you consider "invalid". Thus, YOUR reason is invalid. Also, riding pigs were for for fun than actually travel. They are the ones who owns the saddle, not horses. It is not the pig nor the horse who own that saddle upon their back, but the player.

If you don't like horses, then don't use them. (invalid arguement)
Ok, you are right about one thing. The "It is option" argument IS invalid. A bad feature being option doesn't make it good, but it certainly does help. I find that argument invalid, since the horses is not a single player only feature. Any and all features should be available for both SP and MP. As a matter of fact, it would be harder to make it single player only because of the merge. Horses would be added ti multiplayer servers too. Exploring on big servers is already on the edge to impossible when it comes to exploring. Exploration is not really a group effort, it is a player effort. Plus, on server that have been on for a while, the map has been explored to the point where you already have to travel some thousand of blocks to reach unexplored areas. Adding horses would destroy it for ever, making the map sizes on multiplayer servers only more gigantic if you want to explore even further than the other players. Most server already are well explored and pretty infinite, so....

They don't affect singleplayer and small servers at all if you don't use them. (Not true)
They barely affects ANY server if people don't use them. Apart from riding (Their use), they can be killed for some leather, and that is it. adding horses can't get any more unoriginal. OH BOY, this unoriginal crap again. Fun fact: Did you know that Minecraft wasn't the first game were you could customize the entire world with your own hands? There's already a ton og RPG games with horses and don't let minecraft blend into them. There are also tons of RPG game with: Exploration, combat, undead, magic, building, crafting, trading, pets, guards, iconic monsters, multiple dimentions, farming, fishing, music, mining, wood cutting, modding, etc. Minecraft have been developing all on its own so long and that's what gave minecraft the success that other games didn't get. What does this have to do with the title of this paragraph? And even if it doesn't affect my minecraft servers, I would still rather have something way cooler. Oh boy! The argument that each feature that one doesn't like could of been replaced with a feature that is better! In all seriousness, every feature could of been replaced with a better feature. But hey, one feature at a time. This feels like the first step in a path that is based off what the most people say they want to the game. Mojang, listening to their fans? NO!!!! Just because people say the want it, doesn't mean it fit better into the game. Right back at ya. Just people you don't want horses, doesn't mean we would be better without them. A lot of people also love the mutant mobs mods, but it would be a gamebreaker. Because MOJANG doesn't think that would fit. It is mainly about how they think is best for the game. They do listen to their community, however they are not slaves to them.

Why again are you supporting the idea of horses?
How I see it, horses don't add any new gameplay, Neither did flower bots, colored wool, squid, etc. I'm not going to make another list. but only takes the original gameplay away. Yes, horses have been added, so the things that made Minecraft what it is is no longer there. Mining is gone, so it exploration, craft. Building? Also gone, because of horses. /sarcasm So why are people still supporting horses? So why are people still against horses?

Jeb_ added them, stop complaining (invalid arguement)
I think one of the reasons people like the horses, is because Jeb_ added them. Now, don't get me wrong, because I love minecraft the way Jeb_ have made it, but simply because Jeb_ added the horses doesn't make me a supporter. I like what Jeb_ make, not because I think Jeb_ is awesome (He is awesome), but because I think his work is awesome. Now, stop supporting him by protecting every feature he implents. It doesn't matter who added them, they don't fit into minecraft. I do believe that horses fit into Minecraft. And I will agree with you on that I personally do not like the suck-ups, no matter who they are sucking up to.

    Because I like horses (Lame)
Why are you against horses? "Because I don't like that." (Lame reason)
As I said ealier, there are other games with horses and way greater horse gameplay than minecraft. Again with the other games! In reality, most people don't give a crap what in another game, as long as it would be good that this game! MInecraft can't compete on the gameplay of horses and horses doesn't even belong or fit into minecraft. Wait, what teh fudge? WHO the heck is Minecraft competeng against? Wait, I think I got your logic. If two games have a slightly similar feature, they are competing. So that would mean that Runescape and Skyrim are competing with each other because they both are medieval. Also CoD and TF2, Deadspace and Halo, and others are competing with each other.

I'll make a list of people who doesn't read the entire post before commenting, so everyone can see how many percentage of the people actually read before commenting.

    Still waiting on that list.

    tl:dr
Half your arguments are invalid, the other half are false accusation or opinions.

In case anyone was misled by my previous post, I DO support craftable saddles. However, the way this guy made his post is utter crap. Constant insult to Mojang/Jeb along with writing each post completely horribly.

Instead of going on about the negative effects of non-craftable saddles, why don't you instead go on about how having craftable saddles will have a positive effect? You are bond to get more support that way.
