Sucks about all this corrupted business and I hope it gets resolved but I need to ask you, Stellaria, to kindly not quote massive picture posts... please snip out the post. My internet is cruddy, and others with cruddy internet will understand. It takes ages to load these things and, well, argh! (thank you)

Well, sarcasm aside, you're just gonna have to nut up and start running around at night hunting endermen haha.

There aren't any farms that are worth it or efficient enough without being in the end, so... good luck. I can usually get 2-3 pearls a night in the early stages of a world.

It takes either 1, 2 or 3 lapis, depending on the tier you're enchanting with. It will also use 1, 2 or 3 levels. But you're required to meet whatever level it shows on the bar. So it if for example you're enchanting at level 30 and you're level 37, you can enchant three items with 9 lapis. On the final enchant you'll fall to level 28, you're then required to reach 30 again before you can enchant.

Tier two - two levels, 2 lapis.

Tier one - one level, 1 lapis.

If you don't meet the said level you can't enchant.

I want to spawn on a large beach with some gravel, a triple dungeon skeleton/zombie spawner close by with two ocean monuments just off the coast. I also want a village, a huge forest with all the special biomes - sunflower, flower forest, birch forest, and I want a huge extreme hills mountain range surrounding me. A mega taiga within 1000 blocks, a few large islands, one with a village, all within 1000 blocks, preferably on a mushroom island.

Also I want a jungle and desert, and a savannah, with their respective temples of course. And all the other biomes.

And make sure there's a stronghold directly under spawn, for convenience, and plenty of exposed diamond ore in caves and such.

Oh, also, melons within close reach.

There's several threads out there with an 'all biomes within (2000-3000) blocks' seeds. So search the forum, you might find some. The seeds should work with 1.8. Also, I saw one for 1.8, so... have fun.

For your question: It should work just fine, I believe you need to be within 28 blocks for them to spawn; so make your waiting room somewhere in the middle where it's close enough.

I have an enormous quarry from around level 40 to bedrock under an extreme hills biome for when I want to mindlessly mine, or when I need stone. Otherwise I just cave/strip mine, it's more efficient to get diamonds. Also, never mine out diamonds unless you're using a Fortune 3 pick.

I know it's already been answered but I felt compelled to post.

I have a very good tactic, works for any mob. First equip sword, the chop up the mobs. Or use a bow, depending on the mob of course.

Probably too simple though, right?

I make a full set of wooden tools then use them all down to nearly breaking (what looks like 0 durability) then I save them in a chest. Later, once I build a trophy room or some other nonsense I hang them up in an item frame and rename them with an anvil.

These wooden tools guys, they started it all. Give em a little respect why don't you.
