Jeez, what graphics card do you have? It must be extremely outdated if it can't even run minecraft.

It's not only about that. Minecraft can be a lot more resource intensive than you might think.

Been around as long as you, I literally just started playing with mod packs (FTB) a few days ago. I still haven't played multilayer.

Anyways. Take a break. All good things must come to an end! Either you'll end up coming back or you'll move on.

And, you know, this stuff is like drugs. Always chasing that first-time high.

Yesss, support. Aesthetics plus some cool new things... I especially like the idea of running into a zombie with three wriggling silverfish for arms and a head.

Quote from Blinky1001 »My other point still stands: zombies and skellies are very tough due to the recent update that:

    • Enhanced their AI
    • Made them shoot faster (if closer) or stronger (if further away)
    • Made them set you on fire (zombies) if they hit you whilst burning.
    • Made them summon helpers to try to beat you up.
I'm sorry, there is no way that neither zombies nor skellies need buffs.

Ya'll need ta grab ya sword and man up!

Interesting enough post, what with TheMasterCavers' post it's neat to see a rough comparison between the two mining strategies. Thanks for posting your results!

If I want to switch difficulty or even /creative I'll do it. I don't give a rats behind what the general populous thinks. It's my game, my vested time, my creation.
So your discipline and willpower is low and you applaud a option that forces you to play the way you perceive as "legit" or whatever you want to call it? I guess that's exciting...

Well golly, Mister, some people get quite excited by the prospects. Rightfully so!

BTW, I like the idea of lining my subways with maps- I could do a long strip of zoom step 0's across the breadth of my known world- at this point it would be 32 blocks long...

    Any other ideas? cheers: tbg

Heyo mano. Can I ask how you go about switching around the zoom levels on your lovely maps?

To answer your question, I think that's a positively lovely netherbrick table. And I'm not sure about this... Furney... and Chester. Maybe you're growing too attached?

But anyways, it's cool that you're back! That was a totally huge update but fun to read.

In 2012, my goals changed to improving builds (As my building style started to change), and generally make things look better on the outside and in. Following all the smaller jobs I had some bigger projects to do, most of which are either done, almost done or in progress. These including building a wall around Mount DOOOOoooom (Finished), Knocking down the bridge (Done, currently rebuilding) and improving the church (In progress) and building a minecart tunnel underneath the ocean (Done) as well as to the half-way house.

Whilst there are still outstanding projects (Finishing interiors in the apartment block), you will no doubt see that new little projects are popping up all the time. As for bigger goals, it would be pretty being an old Alpha world to find a stronghold, however travelling to the middle of nowhere to defeat the Wither/Guardians in an Underwater Temple are still an option on the table. :)

    Ahh, noice.

How big is the area/map that you've explored thus far? :P

I'm interested to see what you come up with, the new house looks awesome. I wanna see that Christmas tree! I'm growing my own in my main area for the holidays. Good times. ^^

I sort of skipped out on a few of your updates, I'll go back through them later. This is all really great, and it's cool that you're still with it. I can't say that I've got much in the way of ideas for your coming builds. Do you have any sort of projects planned for the future? You can just direct me to go back a page or two if you've already stated the answer to this question.
