Jan 22, 2011Puppytime posted a message on [128x][1.5]World of Warcraft texture pack (alliance pack up!)Posted in: Resource Packs
Jan 21, 2011Damn nice work reno!Posted in: Resource Packs
My wow pack - im totally geeking out, but its going to take me a long time i think.
I could literally make a different pack for every area.
But I think im just going to do a org /uc /barrens based theme and the gay alliance cities (IF /SW /elwyn)
Full gui, items, art and will eventually get to armor and mobs, they need to be resized and tweaked a ton to get it to work but it should be incredible.
Starting out with 128s and sizing down afterwards when everything gets tweaked to content.
Got the gui pretty much, but wondering if i can alter to show the dragons on the edges? Or would i have to alter a class file to do that?
If anybody knows I would really appreciate somebody to point me in the right direction.
Id also like to alter the life bar into unit frames XD
think Im in way over my head but gives me something to do
Jan 21, 2011I'm taking what Ive learned from this and making a world of warcraft pack, maybe 32,64 and 128Posted in: Resource Packs
Should take me a long time tho to get everything right, including gui , items, armor, weapons etc.

Updated the sandstone to blocks, so when you build pyramids, they look like pyramids!
and the snozzberries taste like snozzberries!
Well that's a bad attempt at a pyramid but you get the picture
more detailed sand
More detailed stone
Made the gravel a close match to default
new netherstone, more fitting with hell
more detailed halfblocks
added a 128 version of the og paintings
Jan 19, 2011Posted in: Resource PacksQuote from darkhaven4 »the stone, it's so smooth that it all appears as a single piece
yeah when i tiled the ores it changed the pixel size so i had to tile the stone again to make them match and it made all the detail go away :sad.gif:
I should fix that
the lava and water, all misa, it is amazing

Anyway, I'll have the .png uploaded later for those interested.
zomg do it!
I really hate doing ores, as you can tell, been through about 6 variations.
And im totally a old dude
I redid a few thing last night, somehow i messed up the sand, so readded texture to it.
and FFFFFFFFFed over how the block textures are seamless on the sides but on top totally ****ed up
I tired to make all the sides of the blocks identical but it really didn't look right
I will have to make them brick by brick i guess
Got frustrated and gave up for a while
Jan 18, 2011Posted in: Resource PacksQuote from Oysterbarron »have you got any plans to make the pictures better quality, at the moment pictures look worse than the ones in a 64x64 pack! cheers for updating. I dont know how you do it but your block textures look 10 times better than other 128x128 packs out there!
yeah the art pack is the default, sorry I haven't hung any pictures in a very long time so forgot all about it.
here is a 128 one
Right click save as, open minecraft.jar with winrar, open art folder and drag/drop it into the folder
Quote from sookwook2 »Your player and mob textures look horrible to me. I just want default texture, but How to?
What reno mentioned would work
Or if its allready installed-
in the bin folder move the armor and mob files from minecraft-1.2.jar to minecraft.jar
open them with winrar
Or you can grab another pack that you like and use their mob/armor files
Quote from jooakim »Awesome textrure pack, but how can i make it work? :-)
Jan 18, 2011Posted in: Resource PacksQuote from draketoto »ok so im in the item png file
but how do u change the items
how will you change it so it dosnt go into perimeters of another item?
wat are the perimeters of an item in the item png file
Use gimp and the background will be transparent with a grid
