Well, Prof. Moderator, you use the /summon commands to summon mobs, and you can also spawn them at different locations. This can also be done with items and blocks with the right NBT data.

Good point. They have to make it so they can spawn in like sand blocks so it doesn't break millions of maps. But I think other people use SethBling's MCEdit to use spawners to spawn sand blocks.

GLITCH REPORT!

There is a glitch in the new snapshot. When you try to break a block with a Sword in Creative, the block will not break. This is an odd glitch and really hope it is fixed.

I think 1.7 is the "Nether Update" and it might have a chance of new mobs, I'm not sure, but I really think people should stop asking for Herobrine to be added into the game. Mojang will never add him.
