Before you make the next version for 1.14, could you PLEEEASE add a spawn frequency config option to the 1.12.2 version??? I love this mod and the streams are so beautiful! But they are too rare for my liking since i need to see their beauty even more. People will be on 1.12.2 for a long time its the most popular version for mods, and it would be a shame to leave it behind without a rarity config.... Idc if that would make some weirder streams from forcing them to spawn more often, it would be worth it, i come from 2009/2010 anyways and i love the "exciting" kind of terrain so i don't mind "weirdness". These streams interact with mountains in awesome ways sometimes, ways that make my beta 1.7.3 and earlier as well as alpha terrain-gen heart sing, which is a big bonus. When combined with worleys caves, you can get some incredibly gorgeous mountain caverns sometimes
its the only thing i could guess as to why you havent implemented the ability to set the frequency yet, so i was just letting you know that that would be ok if there were added inconsistencies from raising the frequency :0

loving this mod though but i play with a random respawn in a 4k block radius and bed spawns disabled so its like hardcore mode without your world and progress being deleted permanently. So looking at the log to find a stream is fun for pretty looks and testing and all, but even if i tp'd there in gameplay it would only last one life. Id love to be able to set them to be more common as i want to shape my towns around them Cheers, and thank you for making this marvel of modding ingenuity and for sharing it for us all to play with
Loving the updates man, especially the fire creeper. Thank you for doing this. It adds a tasteful amount of challenge without being instadeath on my laggy phone
Man, this mod is great! This is the kind of "fits in with vanilla" content that adds a slight challenge (without being unplayable with touch controls on a 5" phone screen) that i always am on the lookout for, sadly most mods are unbalanced cheat mods, decorations, or kiddie stuff. (i started minecraft in late 2009 before all this cutesy child focused bs was added...oh well..)
Please keep making more immersive game/gameplay expanding mods like this! love it. Really good job man and thanks for sharing cause it makes my game more fun, definitely.

I simply CANT play this game without the Gyroscope controls you have in this tool. The touchscreen controls are awful and my touchscreen is terrible on top of that, so its literally unplayable without the gryoscope camera
It would be nice if there was a way to get this mod working with shaders without the clouds getting all bugged out and weird. Someone should really share a way to fix it, or at least make an official acknowledgement if its some sort of unsolvable incompatibility.. btw, your mods are great coros. Make the game much better.
This is so good, wish it was the vanilla game so we could have big servers and all. But really, its a million times more enjoyable than vanilla. vanilla is so...kiddie. Thank you so much for sharing this mod flowerchild!
How hard would it be to port this mod backwards to 1.5.2? It would be awesome to use this with Hexxit (especially with the zelda grasses that drop hearts, it would make them alot more useful!)
Indeed this is a very niche group. I'm enjoying this mod ALOT in my SSP playthrough, i keep making hardcore worlds with this mod on and some others (glens gasses, infernal mobs, mine and blade, twighlight forest, a bunch more, though i doubt with this mod and hardcore mode that id ever make it far enough to get very far in twighlight forest anyways :D) and its super fun. I think the farthest ive made it is 2 nights, and then i died :c
But yeah, this system is awesome. Old food system was better in so many ways.
Maybe if you implemented that no food stacking feature, you could have a preset config, and make it an almost identical copy of the old system - food heals you the same amount as it used to, and doesn't stack. I also might add that the new munching animation does make it a bit harder to heal during combat, which is quite interesting. It has gotten my ass kicked by skeletons a few times Hopefully with this thread getting more posts more people will check it out and maybe enjoy it as much as we do
After its been...almost a year? And i did find it and bump it, after i found the mod. Also i never said anything about realism, at all. I simply explained why its a bad feature in the game in my opinion. I got this game at the very last stage of infdev, i'm not allowed to express my distaste on the path the game has taken after all this time?

Holy ! Dude, i love you so much! this is exactly what i needed to be able to play minecraft again! I absolutely HATE the food system in the game right now! I loved it back when we had no hunger bar and only healed from food....seriously, well done dude, you are awesome. Please never drop support from this mod, pleeeease! You are like, the only modder right now that gets it...people have removed the hunger bar before, but abandoned their mods when new versions came, and honestly your way of doing it is probably the best implementation yet!
Once people find this mod, oldschool minecraft players will flock to it, i just know it.

2. while you are NOT hungry, the game turns into psuedo-peaceful mode, which is way, WAY too easy.
So, the vanilla hunger system is extremely annoying, but also makes the game extremely easy.

If you can't figure out how to only let food stack in chests, and not in the player inventory, then just make an option to never let food stack ever. Because nostalgia and making the game harder, yo Lets all go back to a time where minecraft wasnt dumbed down for 4 year olds :')
No idea why nobody has just sat down, and written a good mod that uses forge, works on multiplayer, removes the entire hunger system and just makes food heal hearts just like the old days. this system is vastly superior because 1. its not annoying as because you dont have to micromanage your hunger all the time
2. being full on hunger turns the game into peaceful mode (perma health regen, lame), appealing to all pewdiepie dubstep babbys that this game apparently has become developed for, unlike how it was back in the alpha days.
And also, sprinting, optional i guess, maybe just have a stamina bar for that. Or just remove it. Lots of options too, so it can be compatible with lots of mods. Why hasnt someone just made a good mod like this already, and updated it throughout the versions...id love to try to get some minecraft nostalgia again whilst enjoying and discovering all the new features, but i really cant stand the hunger bar, its such a ****y game mechanic.
I mean if mojang really wanted to implement that they should have gone full blown survival, needing to fight cold, sleep, thirst, and hunger, a la Frostfall + Realistic Needs and Diseases mods for Skyrim..anyways. Hopefully someone can show me a mod that does this for the latest version, and i can use it with whatever other mods. Or, actually, does anyone know of a mod that makes having full hunger NOT regen health, and the only way to regen health is drink potions? Either one, please, i'm desperate goddamnit, i wish notch didnt turn this game into , said he was gonna have quests, boss monsters that pigman villagers send you to kill, and underwater sea monsters....
Its a shame that this mod will never be forge compatible, as all the best mods use it. My minecraft adventure/exploration/survival experience would be complete with the hexxit modpack plus no hunger bar, oh well maybe someone else will make the mod along the way.

Indeed this is a very niche group. I'm enjoying this mod ALOT in my SSP playthrough, i keep making hardcore worlds with this mod on and some others (glens gasses, infernal mobs, mine and blade, twighlight forest, a bunch more, though i doubt with this mod and hardcore mode that id ever make it far enough to get very far in twighlight forest anyways :D) and its super fun. I think the farthest ive made it is 2 nights, and then i died :c

Maybe if you implemented that no food stacking feature, you could have a preset config, and make it an almost identical copy of the old system - food heals you the same amount as it used to, and doesn't stack. I also might add that the new munching animation does make it a bit harder to heal during combat, which is quite interesting. It has gotten my ass kicked by skeletons a few times
