Trees already grow too quickly. What the hell do you think this is, a video game?
I say they take the realistic rate of maybe.. 4 years? Yeah.. So that's what, 1,460 in-game days?
There's a multitude of Power Saving features that will either turn an isolated section in the computer off, or lessen the load after a certain amount of time.
Most of the time the Power Saving will disable USB devices as well as disable your LAN capabilities.
You can keep the "Sleep Mode", just configure it properly to your needs.
If that does't help you, then have mercy on your soul. :x
I think Notch could increase the user base for Minecraft by adding modes that users could actually "win", such as capture the flag and other PvP modes. For some people, those extra ways to play and win would turn Minecraft into a "real" game for them.
That would be interesting. And to give the flag holder an edge, he can kill you with one hit with the flag.
Clinton here from AllGamer.net was cool enough to up my RAM 256 and dedicate it to TeamSpeak 3, granted they only setup Mumble initially because it's a free license, so I decided to snag a Non-Profit license with infinite slots and hand them the license file to install onto TS3.
So I now have 4GB dedi to Minecraft and 256 to TS3 on the server.
FizzixSE, can I enlighten you in the fact that most are too stupid to realize how dynamic this system is, they assume black and white and shoot the idea down as fast as possible.
It's incredibly unfortunate, people are fighting to literally shoot the idea down, it makes no sense, it's as if they want to hate it.
From my point of view..
Let's assume I set this up for my server, I'd add group management for white listing and change my denial to say, 3 marks.
From my understanding you can then add say.. A second tier of groups to then take 4-5 marks in order to deny them from the server.
I mean, it's so dynamic it's uncanny, to shoot this idea down is dumbfounded.
It doesn't automatically ban anyone from your server, YOU set the limits on what it does, it's just a tally system that tells you whether this certain person has done something in the past to deserve scrutiny from a server.
Now, I do have a question however, will these "Marks" hold individual descriptions on their reasoning for the kick/ban/mark?

Hypocrisy holds both truth and falsity.
But hypocrisy is still hypocrisy, and I'm sure that's what we're trying to convey to you.

(I honestly don't mind which Faction I'm taking role in.)
Read and agreed. "I did"
Just an opinion, but anyone that decides to quote the OP should be auto-declined. :x

This just seems obnoxious.

NFO Servers are pretty great, but they're not meant for Minecraft in any way, it's just a waste of money.

Anyone have any information regarding NFOServers.com and which plans can handle how many users?

Just send me a PM and I'll throw you the IP.

I'll change the Backups to 240 minutes, I click Automated Save and it changes the save to 240 and Backups back to 60.
Also, is there any possible way you could implement max backups? When it hits cap it starts deleting the oldest backup.
