    Minecraft causes an update to the currently displayed menu/game every time it detects the cursor updated, so if you use a high poll rate mouse, it causes a lot of updates, each time forcing a function to be run. This lags the game significantly, so I'd recommend using a lower poll rate on Minecraft.


    EDIT: I've figured out that this issue occurs any time my mouse cursor is moving rapidly when over Minecraft, which includes playing the game, the inventory or the pause menu. As soon as the cursor is not over Minecraft (such as on a separate monitor, or the task bar or title bar) the fps is stable and high. Upon trying a different mouse, the issue is gone. So the issue is with the Logitech Gaming software. If anyone else has a similar issue, I recommend experimenting with any mouse drivers.

    The issue seems to be my 1000Hz poll rate. Halving that to 500Hz mostly fixed the issue, but I still noticed some lag, so I dropped it to 333Hz, and the issue is gone altogether.


    Maybe a month ago, my mouse started going crazy in Minecraft. It was only in Minecraft, and occurred whether I was using mods, or using a completely brand new installation of Minecraft. Yesterday I completely wiped my hard drive and reinstalled Windows and Minecraft, it was fine for a day, but today the issue started occurring again.

    As you can see at the end of the modded video, I'm smoothly moving my mouse side to side, however it periodically does little jumps. Especially around 20 seconds, the effect is very noticeable. I am definitely moving my mouse smoothly, and at the end, I open the chat box to show that the cursor does move smoothly.


    This issue occurs on all installations of Minecraft, whether they are vanilla or not.


    Initially, I was able to solve the issue by getting my own installation of Java, 8u151 and using that instead of the outdated version included, and this worked for a month or so, but the issue started occurring, so I reinstalled Windows, and it was fine, but the problem came back. I am using 8u152 after reinstalling Windows. This issue is completely isolated to Minecraft, and affects both the current and old versions as well as the new Snapshot that uses the latest LWJGL. However, in the snapshots, rather than jerky camera movements, I get extreme, unplayable lag when moving, down to 0fps, but the fps returns when standing still.

    Any idea what may be causing this issue? I can't seem to solve it. It will be fixed for some time, maybe a month, maybe 10 minutes, then it comes back again.

    Tutorial to Convert Stereo File to Mono:

    1. Open Audacity
    2. File -> Edit Chains...
    3. Add (Name: StereoToMono (or whatever you will remember!))
    4. Insert -> StereoToMono -> OK
    5. Insert -> ExportOgg -> OK
    6. OK
    7. File -> Apply Chain...
    8. Select StereoToMono (or whatever you named your chain in step 3)
    9. Apply to Files...
    10. Browse to where your audio files are stored and select all of them that you want to convert. (TIP: Use CTRL+A to select all or hold CTRL while clicking files to select multiple files at once!)
    11. Open
    12. Audacity will convert all audio files selected to mono (if they aren't already) and will then export them in the ogg format in a folder named "cleaned" in the directory where the selected files were.

    I am not sure if this is being fixed yet, but the juicer recipe is set to only work in the top of the center row in the crafting grid. Please fix the crafting recipe to make it valid in any position on the crafting grid. Thanks! :) Great mod by the way. It's very fun and I am enjoying it a lot. Do you think you could add some Japanese and/or other Asian food to the mod however? For example, okonomiyaki, potstickers, onigiri (rice balls), etc. Perhaps several variants of rice balls actually just because of how much variety there is. Thanks! :)

    ? Works fine for me and others. Although this doesn't matter at all because I never had an issue on the FTB Monster pack until I took some mods out on my laptop and played with only a little bit of mods, crashes. -_- Your error might be though that one of your mods is either outdated or not installed correctly. Do you have forge multipart, code chicken lib and code chicken core and chicken chunks updated?
    I'm not exactly sure if chicken chunks is necessary, but the game seemed to not load properly or not load at all and exit with an error report for me when it was not present
    EDIT: Is code chicken lib in the 1.6.4 folder inside of the mods folder??
    EX: .minecraft\modpack\mods\1.6.4\codechickenlib.jar

    If you had actually read, you would have noticed that barriers have the barrier particle in them when you are in creative mode AND holding a barrier. -_- NO they will NOT appear when you bump into them. THE PARTICLES ARE BUILT INTO THE GAME. Next time read before posting. You didn't even understand what this whole topic is about.

    I think that you should add food/drinks. For example you could add sahlab.
    You could also try to implement other dimensions like the Land of the Dead for example.
    In that dimension, you could have the Hall of Judgement and in there you could have Osiris's throne with Ammit the Devourer and Anubis.
    Sorry if I'm asking way to much but you could try to implement the ability to host a god. (I personally think that would be pretty cool!) :steve_csi:
