Paragons
Paragons is an upcoming Superhero/Villain server and is currently seeking dedicated staff! We are approximately 80% completed with the world with all systems working, all classes implemented, and the first city nearly finished. Paragons will offer a completely different PVP/RP experience, full of superspeed, superpowers, and skill based combat. Each Archetype currently has five powers, each designed to synergize with each other. This focus on synergy leads to a deep combat system that rewards experimentation and skill.
The City
Paragons takes place in The City, a massive metropolis. The City is divided into many districts, meaning the server is highly expandable. Each map is unique and complex, ensuring the player will always find new challenges. The City also is home to "dungeons", bosses, and even raids. Server wide events will also take place, the consequences of which just might be permanent. Below are some screenshots of our current progress:
The Factions
There are two factions in Paragons, the Heroes and the Villains. Players are given the option to fight for either side and fight for control of The City. At the launch of the server the factions will be represented by The League (Heroes) and The Brotherhood (Villains).
The Enemies
The City is overrun with enemies! Heroes aim to keep the City safe, while Villains only wish to remove any threats to their own power. Paragons offers a wide variety of enemies for both factions to fight, unlike anything vanilla Minecraft offers. Characters will fight through hordes of enemies, eventually challenging their leaders in epic battles.
Power Archetypes
+Pyro
The Pyro is a master of flame and long range combat. A good Pyro will use their arsenal to ignite their enemies, blast them away, and heal their own wounds.
+Frost
-A Frost character focuses on damage and control. Frosts can slow, freeze, and throw icy shards.
+Psychic
-Psychics are deceptive, difficult to master, and even more difficult to fight. A Psychic is a dominating foe with a wide array of strange abilities.
+Brute
-Brutes are strong and seemingly unstoppable. They punch, crush, and uppercut their way to victory. Crude, but effective.
+Martial Artist
-Martial Artists have practiced their craft for years. They have supreme mastery over their own bodies, which allows them to perform amazing feats of agility and speed.
+Sorcerer
-Dark and mysterious, the Sorcerer is a force to be feared. Their control of Dark Magic is unprecedented, which they weave into devastating spells.
Travel Powers
+Superspeed
-Run at incredible speeds! Dash in and out of combat, confusing your foes in a blur. Superspeed has very little vertical movement, so Superspeeders may find themselves taking the elevator.
+Superjump
-Leap great heights! Leap from building to building and soar over foes. Superjump, while still quick, is slower than Superspeed.
+Acrobatics
-The jack of all trades! Characters with Acrobatics can run faster and jump higher than normal humans. Acrobatics provides a nice mix of both Superspeed and Superjump, while not being quite as extreme as either.
+Grappling Hook
-Ascend to the highest spires and pull yourself to safety! Characters with Grappling Hooks can pull themselves in and out of combat. While very versatile, the Grappling Hook can be slow to reload.
What We Need
We are looking for dedicated, mature, and fun individuals to join our team! Knowledge of comics is not required, though a love superpowered stories is appreciated. Moderators and Admins will be chosen from team members who show dedication to the project, ability to lead, and player relations skills. Paragons is a major undertaking from a team that has run several very large servers in the past, please only apply if you are serious about wanting to help bring this world to life.
+Admin (17+ Only)
-Admins must be exemplary. Knowledge of plugin commands, player relations, and past experience is a must. Admins will be directly involved with all aspects of server management. Admins will be required to still test/balance/help develop new content.
+Moderate (15+ Only)
-Moderators will help players solve problems, assist admins, and perform moderation duties upon server release. Moderators will also be expected to help test, balance, and give feedback. Previous moderation/administration experience is required.
+Tester
-Paragons is currently in testing. We need players who will try everything in their power to break the world, exploit the mobs, and destroy our leveling curve. Testers will be expected to give feedback on their experiences and their thoughts on how to improve the world. Testers will also work extensively with the Admins to balance and fix any problems. In your application please include previous testing experience and your feeling on balancing abilities.
+Builder
-While most of the first major district is finished, we could still use some help from talented builders! You will have the chance to build skyscrapers, interiors, stores, science labs, and other strange things. Please include a link to screenshots of your work in your application.
+Graphic Artist
-As you can see, the staff at Paragons are not artists. We can build, we can code, but we can't draw. We are looking for someone who wants to help spice up our threads, website, and stories with exciting art. Please include an example of your art in your application.
+Writer
-We are looking for a talented writer to join our team! We need individuals who can capture the excitement of The City and help bring to life stories, characters, and events that take place. Please provide a writing sample in your application, bonus cookies to anyone whose sample relates to superpowers.
+Programmer
-Do you have experience developing Bukkit plugins? Can you code some mean Java? We are looking for programmers to help us build and maintain plugins that help better deliver the superpowered experience. Please provide a link to the plugins you have developed in your application.

Hello everyone and welcome to the Unlimited Clan Gaming/Role Playing community temporary survival server. This is our way of showing we care for our community, while we develop the newest server of the UCG. We wanted you all to have something to do within minecraft, so here you go.
This server will have a few rules to keep it fun for all and have everyone enjoy the server. The following rules and guidelines will be enforced fully and any punishments (including Bans) received on this server will follow you to all servers in the future (meaning your banned here, your banned on all following servers).
Rules:
1.)Stealing is acceptable from chest, if the owners don’t lock them.
a.You may not steal from farms.
b.You may not steal blocks. (Logs, Iron Blocks, Etc)
c.Take only what you can use.
2.)Greifing is allowed but under the following conditions.
a.You may destroy the following types of blocks: Dirt, Wooden Door, Wool
b.You may place a single block of TNT within a building.
c.You may not destroy more than half of a building (Half is determined by staff members)
d.Just remember two things: What goes around comes around and Do to others as you would want them to do to you.
3.)Killing in the Open is very well okay. You may allow take what you want from them.
a.Do not Spawn Camp someone
b.Leave something of theirs; take only what you can use.
c.Do not kill someone within their own house/base

These rules will be enforced by the staff of moderators, but mostly myself, Falzarr, and Jboi. If you have any problems, please inform us and such. Any suggestions or questions about these rules please post them within this thread.
How to Join:
The server IP is the same as RtA just join and enjoy!
New Players: We will be allowing new players to join us in three different ways. First they have applied to RtA server and were accepted, they apply to Project Horror once the thread is up, or they openly join the Role Playing community from our Community Thread (soon to be posted).
Any questions, comments, or concerns about the survival server please ask here and I will answer as soon as Possible.

You make it sound so dangerous and that any house in the wilds is open to pillage. But all one has to do is "Donate" some money and they get a free protected house.
Looking through more of your perks, you know have it to that if you Donate some money, you can now become a lord of your nation. I mean what about those players who work hard for that title and someone just donates money and they also get it.
This seems to break the feeling of Role playing.
One thing I have always hated is Pay-to-win games. And that is what you have, some of your "donator" perks are super game changing and to me and some other people a have talked to, break the Role Playing that you treat non-donators like second class. Maybe if you rethink your donation perks to make them less game changing. Just my thoughts.

arxx: A dwarf raised by hobbits is really unlikely. So if you could please fix this it would be most welcomed.

Cyparnex: Can't be related to can movie or book character, including the Lord Thorin. Goblins would have Wargs no wolves. Fix these and i'll relook at it.
FireXxAttxX: Good but need to fix something, Elves are Immortal dieing to only Injury by blade (weapon) or sickness. So you mother can't just "pass away", also please remove the Bow and Arrow Schooling, that is dumb and no ever possible. And fix your grammar and spelling. (Spell check is your friend.)
