Mar 7, 2015This works extremely well, there's just one problem though that I'm having, for some reason your Better Grass thing cause light to light up whole blocks rather than being smooth like it is for every other block. As other people have asked, can you find a way to remove it and put a download for it, or at least tell me how without having to fiddle with JSON for an hour and a half? While I love the grass, the lighting bug just ruins it for me, otherwise this is superb, I absolutely love it.Posted in: Resource Packs
Edit: You are a genius when it came to the sounds, I would have never of thought of using steps.
I can remove the model on top by changing the transparency or removing the call to the texture, but I haven't been able to remove the grass "model" itself, as seen below. Edit: I can remove the model part, but then I'm left with missing textures, but the lighting issue does resolve

I support this statement
After I logged on to the server a while later, I asked about his post and why they banned him, which they responded to saying he was an [email protected]#$%&! annoying, irritating, but always avoiding the question itself, I never received a reason WHY he was banned, in fact, they just got mad at me to the point of calling me various names and using caps lock, all the while I stayed fairly calm, and continued to ask why he was banned.
While I gave reasons for my asking, they had no true legitimate reasons for denying answer to the question, such as saying it wasn't my business (I responded by saying I don't want to make the same mistake). They threatened to ban me, then later told everyone to ignore me, and eventually muted me.
You would think someone who banned someone for a reason such as breaking rules or griefing wouldn't go through so much to shut someone who was asking about that ban, unless they had something to hide.
P.S. I have nothing against you guys, I simply performed an investigating on my friend's behalf, and found his story much more believable, so if they have a counter-argument, I hope they have proof as I do.

Try working on your spelling and grammar a bit, for example: random captialization within sentences, 'i' is should be capitalized, firs letter of sentence should be capitalized, put were instead of where, and so on. While this won't deny you entrance, if you fixed it it would certainly help a lot. Good luck!
Aug 12, 2012Another variation could be a block that "fades" when you step on it, or by redstone. It will become translucent and you can fall through it. And for the pitfall, I think stone might be a better choice, as it's much more common, maybe there could be a way to change how it looks?Posted in: Suggestions
EDIT: @Woodruff That's actually a great idea for a recipe, maybe it could be the top block is how it looks, bottom is gravel/sand (gravel preferred, as it's harder to get imo)
Aug 12, 2012I know it has been suggested before a few times, but I think mine is a bit different. Before I start I dug up some threads of similar suggestions, and a LOT of dynamic water threads, but none had something similar to this (to my knowledge)Posted in: Suggestions
TL;dr-Water blocks at layer 64 in ocean or river biomes will spread to adjacent empty blocks
My idea is to "fix" the empty block in the middle of water, caused by placing and breaking (or just breaking) a block in the middle of the surface of a lake, river, etc, which leaves a gap in the surface that isn't a source block. Other examples of how this happens is removing an island, building a bridge and removing it (or a drawbridge), making a boat and then moving it elsewhere via worldedit on server, or making an island smaller.
Now I know you can just place water on the side of a block, or make the water have a block under it, but I thought it would be nice to implement this as an easier, non-processor-eating way, in that all water blocks at layer 64 (sea level) and in an Ocean or River biome (or Lake biome if that is added) would automatically fill any horizontally adjacent air and/or non-source water block with a source water block. This would be toggle-able for the world on creation, and also in server properties, for the sake of mapmakers, and would not be enabled by default on superflat worlds (for seemingly obvious reasons).
While my suggestion adds no additional content, it could be seen as a nice little "bug" fix, even if it wasn't intended as a bug. Thanks for reading!
Edit: While not enabled by default on superflat worlds, it should be able to be enabled, for "fun" purposes

You mean grammer, right?
I agree with both of you, I made this in paint in like 5 minutes and it's unique. I'm not the best speller or grammer(er) so just stop argueeing(or how ever you spell it cause my first language is not english!
I feel like an asshole now... I'm extremely sorry. Most of the time I associate bad spelling with 6 year olds etc...
Aug 3, 20124 skeletons, 2 zombies, 1 spiders, all of them in a ravine and connected cavePosted in: Achievements & Stats
I ignored the zombies only to get ambushed by two skeletons in front of me and the zombies behind me, so I ran past the zombies and used them as shields, then I ran into the spider head on so I ran back toward the skeletons and zombies(who managed to kill 1 zombie, and then were teaming up on the other skeleton) and past them to find the other two skeletons, one missed and hit the spider while a ran in front of the other one so they lined up, getting the skeleton to shoot that one too. The zombie and skeleton behind me killed off the other skeleton, so I turned that skeleton on the zombie which killed him-
So we're at a half dead zombie behind me, a skeleton and a half dead spider in front of me. Continuing the pattern, I ran past the zombie to line it up with the skeleton, who killed it, beat the spider to death with my fist, and then waited behind a corner until the skeleton came to get me, and beat him up.
So I had 1 1/2 hearts left, used no weapons or armor, and of course bragged my [email protected]# off to my friends
That is why I love skeletons
