    You know, millions of people play this game, and I've never heard of anything like getting a virus from it, even indirectly. Even if it was possible, you could only potentially get it from multiplayer, which you don't even have to play. It's just downright ignorant to assume that the game itself can randomly give you a virus out of the blue, especially if you downloaded it from the Minecraft website.

    Apologies if this was posted before, but when I open the Puppet Edit GUI I can't exit it and have to close the game. Also, NPC tools such as the wand render as blocks with no texture (default purple and black checkerboard texture). All in the latest 1.8.0 alpha.

    EDIT: Also noticed that NPCs with the same name will be universally identical. That is to say, if you edit one, all others with the same name will also be edited. Actually it turns out that this one first NPC I made is edited identically to any other NPC I edit, not any ones with the same names.

    EDIT 2: Also noticed that asymmetry works for the hat layer but not the actual skin.

    Vis relays forget what they were doing when their chunks are unloaded. I have a circuit of them from an energized node with all primal aspects to an advanced alchemical furnace, and when I get too far, the circuit changes from red (Ignis) to white, and the furnace stops working.

    That's understandable, but how are people supposed to know how to change out files? I haven't seen a 100% complete list of where sound files are supposed to go and how to enable them (what with the new sounds.json thing that I haven't figured out yet), so it seems like it would be hard for people just starting to figure it out.

    I love it. But I feel like it doesn't really fit Minecraft, and it would be better suited to a "new animations" mod that also changed mob models and adds new walking/attacking/etc animations.

    So for a while recently, I've noticed that in my .minecraft > assets folder, none of the folders have the actual sound files or anything like they used to. I'm not sure which version this occurred in, but it's really bugging me because some of the sound files I have saved are corrupted and I need to replace them.

    Yeah, I just noticed today that I have significantly worse FPS in 1.8 (about 5-15 as opposed to 20-30). I hadn't noticed it before because I usually tested 1.8 in plain superflat worlds.

    Suggestion - Sword pedestals should display the names of swords that have been renamed if you look at them.
