posted a message on Minecraft can't connect to the Mojang servers?
Whenever I start up the Minecraft client, it opens as normal, except that it allows me to only play in Offline Mode. I suspected this could be having to do with Mojang's servers being down, but that was not the case. The console logs it as such:
[21:34:06 INFO]: Refreshing local version list...
[21:34:06 INFO]: Refreshing remote version list...
[21:34:11 ERROR]: Unexpected exception refreshing version list

The thing is, I can access all of Minecraft's and Mojang's websites just fine.

However, when I use the command prompt to ping either site, it fails.

Does anyone have an idea of what might be going on?

It's pretty fantastic to see that you still support this mod and provide help for your users, after this long. Thanks for sticking through! Anyway, do you plan on updating for the 1.8-pre-releases? The full version is scheduled to be released on 2 September.

posted a message on Command Block outputs " and" with @p (CMP)
    I've got a problem. :Skeleton:
I'm using unmodded client and I'm on a vanilla server running 13w37b.
Into a command block, I type:
say @p[x=-1108,y=64,z=-1651] has reset all of their cookies!

    ...and it outputs
and Poyoarya has reset all of their cookies!

The command block was named "Cookie Clicker" in an anvil, causing it to have the "[Cookie Clicker]" prefix, for those who are wondering.

I'm alone on the server. :SSSS:

Others have been on the server before, though.

From prior experience, the "and" thing should normally happen only with @a, when there are multiple people on the server.

say @a have reset all of their cookies!

    ...might output
Reshiram314, derpyplayer123, and Poyoarya have reset all of their cookies!

...if Reshiram314, derpyplayer123, and Poyoarya are on the server.

I'll note that I have tried using @r and @a, yielding the same
and Poyoarya has reset all of their cookies!

I'll also say that I have tried restarting the server, with no change.
I'd like to know if there is anything I'm doing wrong, or if it seems just to be a bug.

Aditionally, here is a screenshot of the console upon activating the command block.

as you can see, there doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary happening here.

As a bonus, you can try recreating it on a local server, but this is not necessary. :Iron:

    Best of luck!

By the way, I'm making a Cookie Clicker thingy, similar to SethBling's. That explains the cookies, does it not?

    Two things:
One: we need an option to enable non-legit enchantments (eg silk touch level 127.)
Two: we also need to have non-legit levels for potions, as well as the option to make is last infinitely ;)

    Quote from Albee12

How do you name inventory save-states? Like in screenshot it said "Load Mining" and stuff

In the .minecraft (PC) or minecraft (Mac) folder, there is a file called "TooManyItems.txt." Edit these lines:

    save-name1:1
    save-name2:2
    save-name3:3
    save-name4:4
    save-name5:5
    save-name6:6
    save-name7:7
And change "1" to "derp," and ingame, it will say "Load Derp" instead of "Load 1"

This is turning into a great mod idea :D The only thing is that for some reason, even on 12w40b, I cannot find the "lore" tags in the [player].dat file with NEINedit :( Help?

    Quote from Lady_Lucy

    Hi Poyoarya,

I'm looking for a server for my son, he's 10 years old and just wants to play minecraft within a community and without being pvp'd or griefed. He is very polite and likes to keep himself to himself but still wants the experience of playing with other people. He is happy to collect resources, farm and build small projects. He plays around with redstone and likes things to be done properly and fairly.

He's been using a server until recently but the griefing has got really bad and from one session to another he's loosing goods and buildings to the point that he's upset and no longer wants to play with people who would do those things. Unfortunately, the servers who will accept a 10yr old are pvp and mostly griefing is allowed.

Might there be a place for him on your server? We do share an account and laptop while I save for a PC, so there may be times when I would be on the server instead. I'm very polite as well and love to create :)

Sure this server doesn't have PvP, and griefing is severely frowned upon. However I might not be on, so don't expect me to be there. But sure, this is absolutely fine and I will get on as soon as possible!

GoldenCraft is an (almost) 24/7 server with nice ops, a good (albeit consisting of 2 players) community! We have many massive builds, and at first there were once 40 people on at one time, although those days are gone.
We have a website where you can register on talk on the forums or donate here!
    So, join now! :D

    Peace out! :Notch: :DORE:

Pylo, this is an amazing creation and my friend went mod crazy and made like 15 new mods! I know you have said in the past that a Mac DE version is coming out when you can find someone to test it. Have you found anyone? If not, I may be able to work out some bugs! :Bacon: :SSSS:
