I do not have K9 installed, but I have also been having this problem since 1.3.1. Usually it is preceded by Minecraft freezing and requiring a force close through task manager, but sometimes it just happens when I exit normally. The process javaw.exe will not close, whether I say "End Process" or "End Process Tree". It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but when it does it requires a reboot to get rid of the process.
I love this mod, and for the most part it's working perfectly for me, but I do have one small problem.
When I try to tame an animal (I've noticed it with horses and with kitties so far), my game will force close shortly after they are tamed. For example, when I tamed a kitty, the game force closed as soon as I gave it a name. When I tamed a horse, the game force closed after I tried to dismount it using shift. It seems to do it only a couple times, which is the strange part. After my game has force closed several times and I've opened it back up each time, it seems to work okay. But it's a bit of a hassle to have that happen every time something is tamed. Am I doing something wrong?
That's really my only (minor) complaint. This mod is wonderful. Fantastic job!
Hi, can anyone explain to me why, when using Timber, every single axe i use harvests wood at the same speed of using your bare hands?
I am having this exact problem as well. If anyone has a solution, it would be greatly appreciated.
Otherwise, great job! It's difficult for me to play without Timber now.
I love the extra control this mod offers, and as soon as I installed it I noticed faster performance on fancy settings, whereas fancy settings would cause my Minecraft to almost completely freeze before. However, it still lags, and I would like to put my settings back to "Fast"..but since installing this mod, every time I try to put my settings back to "Fast", I get a "Saving Chunks" error with a blue overlay, and then it simply black screens and I end up needing to force close it. I then can't open up any of my save files unless I go into my options and change the setting back to Fancy graphics. I've tested it, and the same thing happens when I try to change the settings for trees, grass, water, etc. that the mod offers (changing them from fancy to fast). Why does it do this, and what am I doing wrong?
My minecraft.jar is fresh. This and modloader are the only two things currently installed, and I'm using the default texture pack.
I apologize if this has been covered before. I didn't see it mentioned anywhere. Thank you ahead of time for your help!
are horses supposed to get this small? i havent breeded or an ything.
That's a baby wild horse. You don't have to be breeding for them to spawn (or maybe the wild horses breed, I haven't noticed). I usually find one or two baby horses within a group of wild horses, so they're not unusual. :smile.gif:
EDIT: Btw, this update was perfect, thank you DrZhark. :biggrin.gif: No more bunny problems and everything is spawning/behaving perfectly. Woo!
I love this mod, however I'm having problems with the latest updates as well. Everything started okay in 2.10.1, then everything but bunnies and the occasional deer stopped spawning. I installed the 2.10.2 update, and now the overpopulation of bunnies is fixed, but now none of the other animals seem to be spawning. All my tamed horses and birds are still there, and I see maybe an occasional fox (very occasional), but I can walk for 10 minutes and not see a single mob. I hope this is something that can be fixed.
Thank you very much for the bunnies fix, though. Those furballs were driving me crazy!
