I've downloaded minceraft 1.8 and when I start to play its extremely laggy I deleted .minecraft folder downloaded new .exe and tried again still only 10-25 fps. I have java 6 update 27 both 32bit and 64bit versions please help me out.
Here's my pc's spec's:
Alienware M17x
Nvidia GTX 460m 1.5gb
8GB DDR3 RAM
i7 2.5 ghz
I have no idea how this lags on my system :sad.gif:
What is your OS? I'm hoping you are running on a 64 bit OS, because your RAM can't match up if you're using a 32.
The graphical errors you are getting in the first screenshot are due to your patcher not the texture pack. Make sure you have the latest version. MCpatcher was updated yesterday when 1.8.1 came out.
Oh, those blocks weren't a problem that I was reporting. I had already known the patcher was being retarded in the first screenshot, so I patched it and the dirt blocks were fixed.
The stuck torch pixels however, did *not* fix themselves. :-(!
Well, I personally think there should be a name change function, simply so people don't create an entire new account to do so. Although, I can see that being a huge problem with bans and such. Maybe assign each account a unique ID for the servers to use to ban and such?
Well, there is always IP blocking if someone gets rowdy, no?
So I made an account, bought the game, etc etc.
Point being, I've grown to dislike my username.
I really wish that a name change could be feasible.
I would pay to change my name at this rate, I just find it annoying.
Disregarding my whole personal issue though, I kinda want to discuss the nature of what people think about Name Changes and how this function would be treated if it were implemented.
What do you feel about name changes?
If they were implemented, do you think we should pay for them? If so, why? If not, why?
I'm interested to hear what people have to say.
K done.

Annnnnnnd it's up. Points of interest include 1.8 items! And TEXT! Yay~
Sorry about the wait, guys. It took a lot longer than I thought to resize all of those files I had sized wrong X_X
I pretty much went to work, came home, ate, and then worked on this so I'm goin' to bed. Enjoy! *Hopefully things aren't too wonky. I haven't too much time to test* Let me know if you guys find any awesome bugs to fix!
Thanks! I've thought about setting up a donate button...we'll see.
Hi, Dr. Kalishnikov!
I just want to say that I am a HUGE fan of this pack, it is truly an amazing piece of work.
There are a few bugs I found in it for 1.8 that need some fixing though. :-(
I'll post the screenshots. This is the 64 pack by the way. =D
I'm not sure if this was intended to make the text look a bit more gritty, but there are a lot of white pieces floating around the text that makes it look more distracting than appealing. If it was intended, I'm sorry. ._. Edit: I toggled HD Font Support after these screenshots were taken, but the white particles are still weird.

It seems like there are two little white dots near the torches. I tried to take as many angled shots as I could. =)

I'm sorry. :-( More text related issues.
In this one, having spaces on your sign creates black, unsightly lines that are odd.
Other than that, I haven't found anything else!
Thank you so much for providing us with an awesome pack!
I hope this stuff gets fixed soon. :-(
