It'd be really nice if we could get some sandstone stairs.
I'm an avid desert lover in MC, so it would be nice to have some to expand my desert creations.
What do you guys think?

I concur. Stained glass would be awesome to add. You could depict all sorts of things, and make temples unto yourself...
There's a mod on the forums here that has done something like this, so I hope until Notch and co. try this it'll do.
I also want glass stairs. Glass fortress ftw!!
Glass stairs... *drool*
I want sandstone stairs to. I'm surprised that there isn't any sandstone stairs made yet. It would be great for desert structures.

Yes! Want them badly.
I know! I'm currently working on a Gothic Renaissance castle that would benefit greatly from some stained glass right now.
But it's not just for Old style architecture. I think it would just be stylish in many ways; retro, contemporary or otherwise. :biggrin.gif:
Nov 1, 2011I may not be the first to think up this idea, but I want to throw it out there regardless that I really wish this game had some stained glass features.Posted in: Suggestions
I'm an avid builder, I would love love LOVE to have this as an addition to my glass structures so that I can make them stunning. I'm sure many crazy builders out there would love to be able to do this to! ;D
I can see the function probably along the lines of maybe using two dyes and a glass block in order to stain the glass?
If you can dye wool, why not glass? I want to make beautiful windows! Grrrr!
What do you guys think? Do you guys want some stained glass in our MC?
Edit: And before people start jumping on me telling me this has already been suggested and to search, and not post; It's not spam or necro, it's just "refreshing" the idea to the public to continue discussion. If it keeps coming up, then it bears relevance and deserves it's soap box for conversation. :smile.gif:

Well from your motherboard i found A list of compatible CPU's to go with your motherboard, and also your motherboard has support for a max of 8GB of ram and is dual channel. Meaning you can fit two sticks of ram onto your motherboard. But as for the type of RAM that is entirely up to you.
Also for an Operating System I recommend getting Windows 7 64 bit.
Hope this helps, Duncan.
This was absolutely splendid.
I'm a complete computer novice, so this will help me so much.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! =)

To be able to run multiple processes on your computer without lagg(multi-tasking) it is good to have a good CPU and a good amount of RAM (4GB is Normally sufficient).
Could you give your Full Motherboard Model?
Well, because I am a bit illiterate on computers, I downloaded a program called CPU-Z to tell me what motherboard I have.
Here's to hoping this is all the information you need.
As far as my current setup, I have 4gigs worth of RAM, and Intel Duo Core, and a 32-bit OS. I'm planning to swap all of these out for better components including to a 64 bit OS, but I don't know which would be appropriate for running Skype, Fraps, and Minecraft at the same time though.

Google is your friend.
Holy crap, batman. I'm so glad you came along to help me or I would be lost. /sarcasm
But seriously, this is a support forum. If you aren't around to help, what exactly are you doing posting on this forum?
And trust me, I have googled various parts for my computer, but I'm not a computer tech to decipher what would be appropriate for my goal.

I don't find this annoying at all. Texture Packs are considered a graphical work that makes the Minecraft experience different, so it makes sense that they would put ______Craft. It's an edit from the original.
Sep 20, 2011Okay, so I aspire to record Minecraft with my Own Audio being recorded.Posted in: Legacy Support
Fraps and Skype are things I want to use.
The dilemma is that my computer is a bag of asses.
But! The good part is, this bag of asses is getting a nice redo on components starting tomorrow.
I need some advice.
I am using the 440GT Nvidia Card currently, but my CPU and my RAM are in the shitter.
What components should I use to have a smooth Minecraft experience while being able to record? I'm looking to at the very least have 25-30 FPS while being able to run Skype and Fraps while recording.
Oh, and my motherboard is Intel, so keep that in mind if you suggest a processor.
